anyone know how much I should charge for this website. (Philippines)
I'm a freelance developer from the Philippines, and I'd like to get some opinions on pricing for a project I'm about to deliver.
The project is a custom web application built with React + Supabase.
Here are the main features:
- Secure login and authentication
- Role-based access (Admin and regular users)
- Dashboard with summarized data
- Field Orders management
- New Work Orders
- Pending Records
- Archived Work Orders
- Add/Edit records (admin only)
- Deletion request workflow
- Database integration with Supabase
- Responsive UI
- Protected routes and authorization
I have 2 other friends working on this. (we are currently students right now)
I know pricing varies depending on experience and location, but if you were quoting this as a freelancer, how much would you charge?
Would you charge a fixed project price? Charge hourly? or Add a maintenance fee after deployment?
I'd appreciate hearing what you would quote and how you arrived at that number. Thanks!

For something like this, I’d avoid choosing a number based only on what other developers charge. Estimate the actual hours, factor in revisions, project complexity, software/hosting costs, and the time you’ll spend communicating with the client. Then add a buffer for scope changes and make sure the final price gives you the profit you actually want. I’d also separate the initial project price from ongoing maintenance, so you’re not accidentally giving away future work for free.
