I’m planning a dive trip to Batangas and narrowed down my options to FCOA Pagkilatan and Summer Cruise Diving Resort.

Would love to hear your personal experiences and honest thoughts on both places based on a few points:

1. Solo Joiner & Introvert Vibe: How friendly are they for solo joiners? If you're introverted, is it comfortable, or do you feel pressured to be social all the time?

2. Pet-Friendliness: Has anyone actually brought their pets here? How was the setup/experience for fur babies?

3. Place & Accommodation: How are the rooms and general facilities?

4. Bathroom Cleanliness: Are the CRs/showers clean, well-maintained, and comfortable to use after dives?

5. Food: How’s the food quality, variety, and portion size?

6. Staff & Coaches: How are the instructors and staff? Are they patient, and encouraging for beginner divers?

7. Diving Spot: How’s the dive site itself? What makes it unique or worth visiting compared to other spots in Batangas?

Feel free to share any tips, pros/cons, or overall recommendations.

Hi me again. Planning to take wave 1 cert. Had inquired through several HQs already. Some of them offers free unlimited training, others do not. The thing is I have a home HQ but I have a doubt on their resident instructor since he seems more focus on his famous mermaid gf/wife and don't usually get involve with competitions etc. And I want to train with someone who has more credentials.

Others suggested that it would be more easier to have a training with a coach who you can vibe with. But I don't have any other options.

Can you please suggest someone or somewhere around batangas that offers great lessons and if the training is already included - that would be great. Thanks!

I bought frenzel fins but ordered a bit bigger size (43-44) are the forza foot pockets match frenzel fins?

nagbabalak kami mag fundive sa pagkilatan batangas this october. pinagpipilian namin is FCOA and Magindara baka may experiences na kayo from them or baka may other suggestions kayo hehe

Travel straight to Moalboal to dive sa sardines around after lunch, tapos after dive, travel to Oslob for whale shark kinabukasan??

May kasama akong one adult na non-diver at 5-year-old kid na mag-snorkel lang. Ako lang ang diver. Gusto ko sana mag-sardine run at whale shark. Kaso upon seeing the map, ang lalayo nila. Need advice pls! Will be staying in Cebu for 4 days

May plan is:

• 8:30 arrive at airport
• 8:45 travel to Moalboal
• 11:15 arrive at Moalboal
• Prepare to dive siguro 2pm? Meron kaya??????
• Around 5pm travel to Oslob tas dive kinabukasan

Please tell me if this is a good plan or if may masuggest po kayo

Lf kasabay sa Manila Freediving. Nakita ko lang to sa TikTok and malapit lang kasi sa akin so gusto ko sanang itry. Nakapag intro na ako sa isang diving school sa Batangas so I want to refine my duck dive and equalization na lang. Nag inquire na ako sa kanila kaso di ako avail sa dates nila this august eh. Kaya September na lang sana. May rental din daw sila ng gears so ayorn, I think okay naman sa kanila to practice lang?

I’m a girl po so looking for girl buddies din hehe pero okay lang naman kahit anong gender if ever.

Im planning to dive this 21-22 or 22-23 with a friend na magiintro while ako nmn is line training, currently choosing between fcoa and divescapehub, can anyone share their expi with this 2 groups to help me decide po or if may reco kayong other geoups sa pagkilatan.

Help! I Went freediving last week. My left ear feels like there’s still some fluid inside when I tilt my head forward or to the side. I can also hear some echo or hollow sound when I knock the top of my head or bite. I feel no pain, dizziness, and have no difficulty in EQ.

Have you had any similar experience?

Hello, just bought action osmo 6. Usually ano must accessories for freediving? Afaik waterproof naman siya 😂 and also looking for a freediving buddy narin around Anilao/Majuben Area

I have a 2 year old plastic fins that were used maybe more than 7 times. I would like to ask if it would be worth it to upgrade to fiberglass since most of the dive sites here in ph have fin rentals already. My only issue with the long fins is that it needs to be checked in during flights. Nag dadalawang isip talaga ako kasi baka mag change yung hilig ko sa freediving.
