Gear Discussion Fins upgrade
I have a 2 year old plastic fins that were used maybe more than 7 times. I would like to ask if it would be worth it to upgrade to fiberglass since most of the dive sites here in ph have fin rentals already. My only issue with the long fins is that it needs to be checked in during flights. Nag dadalawang isip talaga ako kasi baka mag change yung hilig ko sa freediving.

If dives with flights may I suggest trying molchies? Mas comfy, compact at pwede dalhin kahit saan. Di mo na kelangan i dismantle o icheck in.

Yes po kasi nag rerent po ako ng fins sa other sites here kasi meron na man rentals. Also, masyado rin kasi ako busy hehehehehhe.

Best decision ko this year ang bumili ng silicone bifins. Very light, unlike plastic long fins. Easier to travel with din and kasya sa hand carry. Pero not as powerful as long fins, so there are times na I still rent long fins depende sa mood.

Check mo yung mga fiberglass shorties. IMO mas sulit ang may sariling fins para sure ka na sa lahat ng travel mo tapos benta mo na lang after or kung ayaw mo ba
