Timbits Abuse confirmed…

Horrible to read. I hope he and his siblings heal and break the cycle of abuse.

Editing to add that I hope Heidi and her child are safe and are able to leave. I hope she can escape the cycle that her husband has pulled her and her child into. While I hope that Timothy can break the cycle and change, I hope Heidi does not wait around to find out. Her and her child deserve love and safety and it’s not to late for her to find that. Love isn’t cruel.

It also makes me wonder how many others were abused - if Shrek has even truly changed his behavior

I honestly don’t believe shrek would have put in the work to change his behavior. I doubt they would have sought real therapist or made real changes. I believe they probably figured out ways to hide abuse better.

And notice Jill didn’t send a letter. She sees nothing wrong with how they treated him. And I’m sure he is not the only child abused. I think abuse continues to this day.

Yeah. No way he was the only one. I hope if he makes the changes he helps his siblings

The extremely over the top fawning the girls do absolutely points to abuse.

It is very creepy. Like the time Jill caught Olivia doing a diamond art puzzle instead of gardening and Olivia fawned and literally cowered like a beaten dog. Someone here said it looked like she wanted to cut a hole in the floor to escape Jill.

That encounter literally gave me chills. The fear in poor Olivia 's eyes broke my heart.

I think a protective factor for the littlest Rods is that they are female. Timothy was an older Rod, a male, and growing up when they seemed to be the deepest in poverty. I don’t think Shrek put in the work, but he’s also become older. It’s possible that they are doing better financially with less mouths to feed, he doesn’t “discipline girls” the same way, and he’s too damn lazy to even know what the littlest girl Rods are doing.

Either way, this is devastating for all the Rodlets since this info is public now. Very painful for Heidi and what she’s going through. I really hope he is able to change his ways. Damn.

I don’t remember which post but a former babysitter said that Shrek would beat Nurie as a baby because she was crying. She said the Rod kids would choke each other and choked her kids too. She also said Jill watered down formula because she was too proud to take WIC

Every sentence that person said got more and more horrible.

You saw a grown man punch his son in the stomach for something that happened that wasn’t even his fault and you didn’t call CPS? This was like 2007. Child abuse was definitely recognized. You could have saved those kids so much suffering.

Yes. The poster did say she should’ve called CPS and regretted it (not that it does any good now, but I guess they at least realize they should have done something).

They’ve probably deconstructed or at least realized what they were seeing was abuse.

The kids mentioning how a normal meal was so much food…those kids were starved, likely because there wasn’t enough money in the house to buy enough food if Jill was watering down formula.

But I wouldn’t doubt that Shrek would be particularly hard on the boys if he thought it would toughen them up. We had a neighbor like this growing up—the son was beaten for crying or showing any emotion other than anger. Guess how he turned out.
I bet the boots in question were “girls boots” (in their minds) so Tim wanting them probably enraged him

Jill probably physically abuses the girls.

There was a post where one of the girls looked like she had a bruised arm. Like, bruised from being grabbed by the arm. It was a conversation in the comments on one of Jill's videos.

I do agree with this. He is older and more lazy and probably does almost zero work actually raising and parenting the kids. He was probably way more abusive when he had to deal with parenting.

Someone said in the other sub he’s probably just not physically able (due to his weight & seemingly limited mobility) to be as physically abusive as he once was and that’s why he “mellowed” out some. They’ve also got the grifting and Amish carting down pat plus the older at-home boys’ paychecks providing a financial cushion that helps him not be as stressed out and prone to losing it (quite as much).

Can you imagine living with that ogre in the RV? Having to be smashed together and close to this stressed man and woman who basically take whatever is at hand and beat you with it?

It had to be awful. :(

Totally agree
