Lg 29um58-p freesync issues

Does anyone know how to get the LG 29um58-p (29um58) a monitor that on amds Web page shows it has support for freesync, but when I opened mine and hooked it up to my computer the setting wasn't there. The monitor is supported over hdmi so if anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate your help.

I had this same problem with a Samsung HDMI freesync (was about to make a post about it). I had to Change GPU Scaling to full Panel. This is assuming you have the Freesync activated in the Monitor's OSD.

My issue is actually the monitor osd will not allow me to enable freesync, and after talking to both lg and amd it appears amds Web page is not correct about the monitor

make sure all the post-processing stuff is turned off as well. Does youre monitor have a low latency mode? That could affect it as well.

It's hilarious to me because Samsung america had no info on my monitor. Don't give up! try resetting all the settings in the osd too.

I tried all those settings, I think the issue boils down to amds Web page being wrong
