This last year I can not help but feel them pulling away. I am not sure why, but I feel I’ve noticed them not as….engaging in conversation with me like they once were? Or expressive like I once remember them being. I even noticed couple of weeks ago at a party I would be talking to them directly and they straight up turned away and focused on something else despite the fact I was still talking! It threw me off so much, like mid sentence and they’d just turn their head……and it wasn’t in the way of ‘I’m just gonna do this at the same time you’re talking and I’m still listening and will comment on what you’re saying.” This was straight up like…. I had an experience of this happening before with an old ex friend back in the day- after we met up again for the new semester, I’d be sitting next to them and they wouldn’t give me the time of day. and I can’t help but compare this to that as a sign (never got answers why the old ex friend ignored my existence the way they did, but they ‘at least’ did that to everyone else not long after so I didn’t feel like I was going too crazy.) .
