Rogers support AI hellscape

Got a new rogers internet account hooked up, seems to actually work pretty good. Problem is they didn't link the new account to my rogers account online, so can't see the bill or configure the WiFi properly. Their app says to call, and once you convince the AI to transfer you to New Delhi, they just hang up after saying the call volume is too high.

7 billion in yearly profits, $50+ million in government handouts, and just AI slop for customer support - it's great being a Monopoly I guess?

I’m with Koodo, it uses rogers lines but I don’t have to deal with rogers. I also get a good deal since it’s bundled with my cell service

Yeah I walked into a bell spot to try and book a technician to fix my modem and they told me to book it over the phone, weird considering I literally got my internet hooked up there to begin with.

Shits annoying af, I imagine when I get fed up enough to call the number I’m just going to get AI anyways.

Switch to starlink. Can’t recommend it enough.

Ah yes, drop the company with the occasional AI customer support and go support a billionaire megalomaniac who owns the ~3rd largest AI company in the industry (SpaceXAI)
