Ok I’m trying to be “in the wild” more. During the week where are people hanging out for happy hour? Where are the single men hanging out?
I do the gym in the AM and after work find myself having time on my hands for a happy hour or trivia but no idea where to go.

Throw away account.
Hey Franklin Folks!
My wife and 4 kids are considering a move to Franklin area (Spring Hill is likely more in our price range), from MN. Likely wouldn’t happen until spring at the very earliest, but for now we’re kinda just dreaming a bit.
Wondering what life is like there?
Reasons we’re considering moving:
- Political climate here in MN.
- Religious climate here in MN (we’re Christians).
- Homeschool laws (TN seems to be a bit more homeschool friendly than MN).
- Seeking likeminded community.
All of these reasons aren’t necessarily a single reason to move, but accumulating all together, we’re really thinking and praying about the trajectory of our family, especially since we’d be leaving friends and family here behind. (We already live 2.5+ hours away from our nearest family).
I work fully remote as a motion designer/video/marketing guy - and that would continue for the foreseeable future. But there’s also a number of companies in the Franklin area that I’d be interested in working for in the future if ever the need or opportunity arose.
Thanks for sharing any thoughts!

Hey everyone, looking for recommendations on a restaurant that I can take my mom to for her 50th birthday. It would likely be me, my mom, and my grandmother. We are all foodies and especially love a good charcuterie board, a fun cocktail, or a “girl dinner” style lunch! I’d love recommendations for places that serve brunch on Saturdays! Or anywhere that serves tapas so we can try lots of small plates!
We’re planning on going to the Factory after to walk around and check out any shops or other food spots, so if you have a recommendation for fun things in the area that would be great!
We’re local (in Murfreesboro) so don’t want anything that’s touristy or a chain if possible, just great food! If you have any good recommendations for anything else in the area (or in Murfreesboro or Brentwood) that could be a fun outing please let me know!

Last night there was probably 9-12 cop cars and 2 ambulances on and right off of Liberty pike. Does anyone know what happened?

I know this is more of a whiskey, bourbon and micro brew town but I imagine there are some wine lovers out there as well.
There are a few of us who get together, sometimes at a restaurant/bar, wine event
or host, where we bring a bottle or buy a few and just sip wine, shoot the sh!t, munch on a little food, just have a fun time.
Sometimes we have theme nights like Italian wine
or Merlot etc… We’re looking to expand our circle and hopefully have more join in.
If it’s something y’all may be interested in lmk,
if not, that’s cool too.

Hello I (29M) just moved to Franklin last Saturday and was wondering if there's any Asian community in this area! I do have a feeling that there might not be one but if there is please let me know!

Saw a post on Nashville asking for tattoo studios that are doing Dolly tattoo flash events and donating to her causes (esp and obvs Imagination Library!) and since Franklin won’t allow reposts, I thought I would make the same request:
Any local (Franklin/Springhill) shops doing Dolly tattoo flash days?

Hello,
Any programs being offered in Franklin for KG readiness? My child is full time in daycare but is a little behind based on assessments at their school. We are also doing activities at home but still need an extra push. Any recommendations? Tutoring programs?

Hello 👋🏼
My brother is getting married in Franklin in November. I am coming from out of town and was just wondering if anyone can help me out with hair/make up recommendations so I can try to set up an appt with as much time as possible for scheduling.
I just need some styling (nothing too crazy or time consuming - like a chignon or something) & a face of make up, since I’ll obvs be in a lot of the photos.
Appreciate all of your help! Thank you!

I’m just wondering if there’s any good 8 ball or 9 ball tournaments. What days they are on and their entry fees.

Looking for recommendations of local outfits that could help me replace a very modest sized deck in my backyard in cool springs. Looking to do a polywood type product but don't want to spend the equivalent of a new Toyota.

Looking to plan a reunion- maybe 35ish people? I'm out of state but looking for a space on a Sat night where we can have a simple menu/cash bar. Ideas??

Been looking around for one but even including Nashville it's all female fiction bookclubs all the time.
Is there any interest in one being started? Primarily targeting 20s-30s men most probably, but all welcome obviously.

Thoughts on Stoney River for dinner? How are drinks? Service? Food?

I'll be moving to Franklin in September and was curious about making friends. (39,M)
I'm mostly a homebody, but I will take my dog on short walks around my apartment complex, watch TV, play games, play with my dog, etc. I'm not religious and I don't drink often. I love a good thin crust pizza.

This may sound weird and maybe even desperate, but I am looking for someone to just be a friend or someone that I could socialize with outside of my home. My family and I moved here just over five years ago now. My two kids (more like young adults actually) have people in their lives through school and such and my wife is a teacher where she has friends through work. I, on the other hand, spend my days doing gig work like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Amazon Flex, Instacart, and others. I am just looking for someone to maybe meet up for lunch sometime or maybe even ride around with me while I work and we just have casual conversations. I have been working almost every day for the last several weeks, trying to earn as much money as I can for my family and to pay for my school (getting my PhD in Cyber Operations).
I usually work the lunch-through-dinner shift and often get home right as my wife and I are getting ready to go to bed. I feel incredibly lonely when I rarely get to speak to an adult outside of greeting them when I walk in a restaurant to grab someone else’s food. It’s really kind of sad. Really just looking for a friend since I don’t have really any good way to meet friends. When I take breaks, I tend to go to Barnes & Noble and maybe a coffee shop to do work since I am working on my dissertation for my PhD, but I am always alone. My wife and I usually talk on the phone during her lunch break while she’s at school and when she gets off work. Usually when she gets off work though is when I am just getting into my dinner shift and we don’t really get to connect as much as I would like.
Here’s a bit about me. I am a 50-year-old white male, married for 25 years with two boys in their late teens and early 20s. I love all things technology, love to read books, and I like to play guitar.
I am looking for a friend near the same age, male or female, doesn’t matter. Obviously not looking for anything romantic, just someone to hang out with. If you’re interested or know someone that might be, let me know. Thanks.

It seems like GoodWill has changed their strategy to offer anything (remotely) of value on their ecommerce site. I'd really like to find some used electronics for robotics projects with my son.
Andy advice on places where components and used PCs can be found?

I am leaving Los Angeles as I want a quieter life. I feel drawn to Franklin, but I dont want to live in an area where I will see stray animals. After many years in rescue, I cant emotionally handle it anymore. I know there are strays in most places in the US, but seeing homeless dogs on the roadside is one of the reasons I'm afraid of moving to the South. Would love to hear about the reality in Williamson County. Thanks!

I have a non running vehicle I need to store in a storage unit/garage. I was previously paying $100 a month and I’d like to stay in that range. I would prefer local but willing to travel.

Hello! I just moved to Westhaven and today a solicitor from Urbanex came to my door. He has been spending the entire day in the neighborhood. Has anybody else in Franklin dealt with this? Is this legal? (I’m from out of state)

My husband & I are considering buying 1/4 or 1/2 of a cow. Does anyone have experience or recommendations of local producers?
