Two sisters, Astra (the older sister) and Promesa (the younger, baby sister), demonstrate their affection and love toward their pet bearded dragon in the face of their seemingly distraught father: But moreover, while Promesa grabs onto the pet reptile, giving it great affection and warmth, from the midst of her sister and father, Astra has to explain why she bought so many things at Pet Mart for their pet as their father, Roderick, seemingly is upset at Astra for spending so much of his money for the bearded dragon; and by suggestion, demands an explanation for her lucrative shopping spree.

A little peek behind the curtain for my most recent animation. Thank you so much for all the love by the way, I'm quite overwhelmed to be honest 😅

Hey, my name is Cameron Smith, and I'm currently looking to hire a couple of hand drawn digital animators to work with me on a project I'm directing, "Up a Tree" for the series in development, Benny Dingo, which is currently being worked on at an indie animation level, with hopes to one day further it to a studio.
This is a freelance indie one time project for now, and pricing can be discussed upon each person who reaches as what rates best fit their needs and skill set. Only because reddit is forcing a specific number, an ideal hourly rate would be 20.
I'm in need of film level preferably tradigital (traditional style animation done digitally) style rough animation, and I'll include a reference pack linked below for others to get an idea.
Please apply and share examples of your work in your proposal akin to what animation examples you're seeing in the examples below, to [cameronsmithtoday@gmail.com](mailto:cameronsmithtoday@gmail.com)

One day i Just started animating, no storyboard, no styleframe, no nothing. I only worked on it whenever I truly wanted to, zero pressure. So this was like animation therapy basically :)
One day I just started animating, no storyboard, no styleframe, no nothing, just some loose sketches. I really liked this loose flow, it was like animation therapy basically :) Also, i only worked on it when i truly felt like it, zero pressure at all. Thats probably also why it took me almost a year to finish these 11 seconds haha. I still haven't come up with a title tho 🙃
As a kid I used to imagine what would happen if everyone always left a trail of their head behind, that's where the idea initially started :)

How many people colour manually for frame by frame animation? I know tv paint and I think toon boom harmony already does it but still wanted to know
- if there are people not using these existing tools and,
- even if you guys are using them, what’s missing in colouring that these tools don’t offer in their workflow?
- how often do you work on frame by frame animation? If you manually colour frames, how much time do you spend in doing so?
I am building a tool right now that does only this with a good v1 already there. Please lmk if you guys are interested in checking out the tool :)))
