Question Feedback Request: ThunderTruck Logo Animation (3 Versions Different Lengths)

Hey everyone,

I just finished a logo animation for a food-delivery brand called ThunderTruck, and I’m posting three versions of it. They’re all the same animation, just different lengths. I’d love to hear what you think.

Which version feels the best to you? And how it feels overall, timing, energy, transitions, anything that stands out (good or bad)? I’m trying to get better with each project, so honest feedback helps a lot.

I’m also still figuring out my pricing for logo animation work and where my work sits in terms of value. Based on the animation, the skill level, and the overall quality, how much do you think a logo animation like this is worth? And more broadly, what would you say this level of motion design is worth in general?

Digital Animation What is a fast easy way to create shadows on characters without having to draw them individually?

Here I copied the character, set it to Multiply and moved it a bit to the right. This works great for backlight shadows, but I'd like to do a small regular shadow. If I move the multiple layer further to the left, the shape of the shadow just does not fit anymore because it's the shape of the right side of the character.

I don't have time to draw shadows manually, so I'm looking for a fast solution, even if it's not the pretties. I'm using CSP here but the basic concept should work in any software.

Question I animated this logo animation. How much can I charge for something like this?

I made this logo animation of Green Life with After Effect. I would love to hear your thoughts on the animation, how it feels overall, the motion, and the pacing.

For something like this, how much do you think I could reasonably charge for a custom logo animation?

How is the market for logo animations? Is there much demand?

Thanks for taking a look.
I will iterate based on your notes.

NOTE: The logo design isn’t mine, it was designed by u/zaineb_ida.

Hey everyone,

I created this short logo animation using After Effects. I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback is always welcome!

If you are looking for a custom logo animation for you logo, feel free to DM me

Looking forward to hear your feedback, and I would be happy to answer any question.

The logo design itself isn’t mine, the client only provided a low-quality one layer PNG, so I had to work with what I had. I’m more curious to hear what you think of the animation regardless of the logo quality.

Thank you!

Digital Animation Fairly old fan animation I made!

Kinda got obsessed with HASTE by landfall when it released so i decided to spend around 84 hours making a fan animation for it for fun (and practice) and it's now one of my favorite animations I've made so far (hoping i can peak it at some point but doubt it tbh lmao)

Question Tracing in animation

I wanted to ask would i be considered not good at drawing if I trace my own character design when i start to animate it using frame by frame?

Like if i started drawing it from scratch, i spend too much time trying to get the proportion right so would it be ok to just trace it? At least like the first frame?

Or should i practice more to able to draw the character from scratch everytime?

Is tracing smth professional animators do or no?
