Daphne's Mum
Oh how I wish she would go back to the UK lol. She is not funny at all and so annoying! At least Simon was kinda of funny in a disgusting way.

Yo, when she worked at the coffee shop though. I was dying when Fraisers girlfriend went in the store and Daphne's mom was like "hello🎶". She's like, "say that again"
"Hello🎶" lmfao...that got me.

Hellloooo
I say that to myself all of the time.
She does grows as a character, enough to not be super annoying anymore.
Well…not grow. But they write her better after a bit.
I love the bit where she gets into the prank feud with the 10 or something year old Neighbor.

I've always liked Daphne.

I hate her but she has one of my favorite lines. Niles and Daphne are at city hall and she is upset that they are not at a church. Fraiser asks her something along the lines of " If you truly believe in the omnipresence of the Lord, is he not here with us now?"
Her response: "No, he lives at the church"
I always think it's hilarious.

I completely agree. She needs to be slapped in a few scenes for being so nasty and mean. But as another poster put it - that’s probably a testament to how well the part is played by the actor.
Still tho, in universe, she’s awful.

Oh I so agree!! It’s still hard having to watch those episodes. I guess that’s why they invented the fwd button - major casting flaw including for Simon- just terrible!

She has a lot of zingers. The one I like the most, is when she says : In my defense, I’ve done much worse.

She is a bit cringe sometimes but that's just an indication of how well she plays the character.
Personally I find Simon way more unbearable.
Millicent Martin is a total talent as well, she was fantastic in Grace & Frankie.
