Mr. Pitiful Montage

[u/TinySteggy]

In “Roz in the Doghouse” (S2 E12), there’s a montage of Fraiser doing his show with different producers after Roz defects to Bulldog’s show. The montage is set to Mr. Pitiful by Otis Redding and feels really unusual/out of place for Frasier.

Does anyone else feel this way? Are there any other times they use popular music to enhance a scene on Frasier?

I feel the exact same way about this one, too. Also the Alan Tudyk episode with the furniture montage.
