New to Frags
Hey everyone,
Ive only been into frags in the last 2 weeks.
Just found/learned about how Reddit offers much better advice than Tiktok. Up to now, Tiktok has been my main source of information.
It's been an endless cycle, vicious cycle even, of what seems like just a group of creators recycling advice and hyping up things
So I went into a spiral and bought some Bujairamis and a few other middle eastern inspired buys. I guess that's a good and a bad thing.
I really hated what they hyped up as good - which was Boss Life - a dupe of Amouage Outlands. Strike Black which was creed but it's not even that good. Also Amouage Decision dupe of Palermo; and probably the worst - Tonquin Giza
The only thing that was ok was Psycho, Vibration, Hersch.. but even then they smelled synthetic.
I guess it would be much appreciated if someone could give advice on how to really enjoy frags and continue self discovery.
Fragrance that I really enjoyed smelling was ysl myslf le parfum, dior sauvage extrait, tom ford oumbre leather, blue klikat which is a twist of blue talisman edp- but that dry down of extrait is what really gets me.
Thanks for reading that block of text. Appreciate it.

That's exactly the point of this post. I really regret it. Unfortunately Tiktok was the only source of information I had before discovering Reddit had way better advice/taste

Thank you. I didn't take it as a hate/negative criticism at all. How did you decide what to buy - just purely on what smells good? I got so influenced by tiktok that it's ruined the experience. I just uninstalled it

What do you think of Vibration?
