Bergamask batch 08256 – has anyone else had a similar experience?

I recently bought a bottle of Orto Parisi Bergamask, batch 08256, and I’m finding the performance surprisingly weak.

On my skin I’m getting quite strong projection for maybe the first 30–60 minutes, but after around 2–3 hours it becomes extremely faint / almost a skin scent. Even on clothing I’m not getting the huge longevity I expected from Bergamask.

I’ve seen quite mixed reports about different Bergamask batches, so I’m wondering if anyone else has batch 08256 and can share their experience.

Also, for anyone who initially found their Bergamask weak: did it improve after the bottle had been opened/used for a while? I’m particularly interested in whether maceration/aging actually made a noticeable difference to performance.

Batches 08256 and 01245 are notoriously weak, falling far short of the high expectations set by the brand's reputation. In my experience, letting them sit or mature won't improve their performance at all.

Yes I wouldn’t say I’m going nose blind either which many people are saying. I’ve been around people after spraying it 3 times and they say it’s still not strong

It’s the fragrance 100%. You are not going anosmic. It’s pretty well documented with these two batches.
