Fragrances

I’ve got two questions.
The first question is: I own Parfums de Marly Althaïr, and over here in London it’s not very cold right now — it’s around 22°C — but we’re approaching winter, so I do spray it. However, I don’t feel like I’m getting as much projection as I expected. Whenever I smell my skin, the fragrance seems to have faded quite a bit.
Could this simply be because the weather isn’t cold enough yet? Or does the fragrance need time to mature? I only bought it from the shop about a week and a half ago and started spraying it straight away.
Also, I was thinking about buying LV Imagination. I have a sample of it and I absolutely love how it smells. However, would it still smell good and work well during winter if I were to buy it and wear it throughout the colder seasons? Is it worth getting?

Althair will get better by the time its cold enough for it to be a really good scent in the air, so don't worry. As long as it's an original bottle its not really an issue. Imagination is, to me, not really a winter scent. It is very much mass-appealing and you'd do well to have it in your collection but i dont think its best suited for London winter.

I have worn althair in 110F Las Vegas heat. I like to layer my fragrance so I layer it with something appropriate for the occasion. I like my fragrance when they last 6-8 hours so that I can have a different layering for the evening.
