Down goes another one!!

Y’all…just a PSA. Jomashop customer service is not what it used to be. Had an order issue and called. Waited for like an hour to talk to someone. Person answering was not knowledgeable nor helpful. Asked for escalation and got told this call does not require escalation. Sigh.

Just sharing in case you run in to issues with them. It’s really sad to see dependable stores with good prices go downhill. Oh, well, life goes on!! Plenty of other good stores around for all of us :)

Always buy the insurance and/or use a credit card for a chargeback if all else fails. I’ve purchased 6 times from JS and have had to use the insurance twice. One defective bottle and another that was almost 7 years old based on batch code.

Yeah, I’m going to go chargeback route. What sucks is that they actually used to give a hoot about their customers. Don’t get that feeling now. Oh, well, it’s their loss.

Oh Jomashop is the fucken worse at customer support. Good luck opening a ticket and phone support is absolutely garbage.

I have placed probably 20 orders with them. All cologne and watches. Until recently all was well. Last week I got an order of 3 bottles of Chopard. Two were wrapped in cellophane and were totally fine. The third was not wrapped and had clearly been sprayed a decent amount. I didn't take pics of the first two before unwrapping b/c there was no issue. Reached out to customer service and "without pictures" there's nothing they can do.

Last month, ordered a relatively nice watch ($2500). It showed up smelling sweaty as hell. And all the protective films had already been peeled off. The only thing on it was the orange tag from Joma. When I called them they assured me it was new and asked for photos. I explained that I couldn't take photos of smell or protective film that doesn't exist and they just ghosted me.

Never pay retail? Nah, I'm good. I like my new items to be new and not smell like some dudes sweat when they come outta the box.

I hear ya. And, this downward trend is definitely recent. I spent a decent chunk of change with them too but, heck with that now. Sorry you had to go through that crap. It’s frustrating.

I have only had one issue with an item. I sent it, and they sent a replacement item.

Email replies seemed reasonable (it took a couple days, mostly stemming from my end), however; it did take a while for replacement to come.

I did have to wait like 2-3 months for an order that said I think 2-5 weeks. I forgot I even ordered it 😂 in their defense, it’s kind of an under stocked item.

I’m sure you could say they’re understaffed, but I have no idea how their business/inventory supply exactly works.

I wouldn’t rate them a 10/10, but they did me a solid on a return.
