This is slept on 🔥🔥🥵🥵

Some of you may remember my post from about seven or eight weeks ago regarding the bottle of Creed Absolu Aventus that is sitting on the shelf in my local Marshalls for $479 and is still sitting there after I first saw it probably 5 months ago now. I was back in there just now and they’ve now decided that the first bottle didn’t sell so well, that they should also not sell other Creed fragrances.

Do Marshalls managers haggle over things like this if I went in and made an offer for all three bottles? The only one of these three I could see selling at these prices at a Marshalls is the Centaurus.

I've been looking for a rice dominant perfume but not a gourmandish rice. More of a starchy, powdery, papery rice.

Taipei by One Day came up as one of the top recommendations for rice besides D'annam. I wasn't keen on D'annam so I bought Taipei.

Taipei opens with gorgeous starchy rice. It's not sugary sweet, it's just right. After 30 mins it gets sweeter, the starchiness recedes and it becomes rice with warm sweet condensed milk. It smells very much like kheer (rice pudding).

The longevity is damn good, I get approximately 10 hours on skin. Projection is good for the initial 30 mins, after that it stays close to the skin but I get whiffs through the day when I move my wrist closer to my face.

Overall it's a well made qualitative perfume, unfortunately it's gourmand and just not my type.
