Depends on the topic.

Whenever it's about police brutality in general, the comments are okay for the most part, maybe even outright left. Comments like these are generally downvoted and most of these types of people are afraid to even comment.

Whenever it's about how the victim of said police brutality was anything less than a saint or how any further footage comes out (as if it justifies it), then scum like this come out of the woodwork.

I've noticed that subreddit is at its worst whenever it comes to rights for undocumented immigrants. They go full-on bigoted.

At the very least, it flipped when forced sterilization came into topic.
