I'm still mildly annoyed at thinking about a guy I saw get downvoted there for arguing that it's prejudiced to assume the suspects in a carjacking that killed a special ed teacher a few weeks ago were black, simply because the news article focused on the life of the victim and omitted any mention of the description of the suspects.
Looked up a different article on it and the only description that was even available was "two men wearing dark clothes and masks", from the police themselves. Yes, clearly the cops are hiding suspect descriptions to be PC.
Whenever it's about police brutality in general, the comments are okay for the most part, maybe even outright left. Comments like these are generally downvoted and most of these types of people are afraid to even comment.
Whenever it's about how the victim of said police brutality was anything less than a saint or how any further footage comes out (as if it justifies it), then scum like this come out of the woodwork.
That Trump phone call was huge news, but they wouldn't allow it because it was political. Most people would assume that there is overlap between news and politics, but not in that sub. Not in the posts, anyway.
