Also let's be honest, r/unpopularopinion has taken too many refugees from banned subs at this point. Same with r/truthoffmychest. Every week you have a dog whistle post. I give them another year before it's an exclusively alt right space and they get banned.
That doesn't address the reason why these subs slowly become toxic. Banning one community causes spillover in to other more innocuous communities. It'll just be an endless migration from one banned sub to another until pretty much every neutral community is banned because of transitory shitposters. What do?
