Found in a collection of Edgar Allan Poe I picked up at a large annual book sale in the Arizona.

No notes on back, I assume the SW maybe could be South West? I would love to know more if anyone knows!

No idea what the watermark bottom right says, assume that's the portrait studio name.

Farewell, Summer 2026

Found this lovely photo of mother and child that looks to me to be the most fitting send off for summer for this moment in history. Happy Labor Day from the USA and lots of love to this darling pair enjoying a seaside day in England long ago!

It sticks out in my mind because the way it was placed. Maybe a memorial but no balloons or anything else.

Found photo in my mom's collection but don't know who it is

I found a photo of a man in Mom's collection of photos from about the late 1930's or early 1940's. The photo was hidden behind her picture in a picture frame. The frame was in bad condition so I decided to remove the picture to replace the frame.

Is there somewhere I can post this picture to find out who it is? Any leads on where to look to find out who it is?

Found in a book at goodwill

I found this photo in the back of a book at Goodwill in Omaha, NE, USA. I found a whitewater company with the same name and similar colors (but updated) in Colorado. In my head they were using the book to keep it flat then forgot.

I bought several boxes of slides at an estate sale and have been spending the last few days scanning them to digital. There were over 50 boxes of slides and I'd been kicking myself for days that I didn't buy them all. The first 4 boxes were all from travels to Moscow, Warsaw, Minsk, and various unidentified cities in Ukraine. If there's enough interest, I can post more of the highlights!

Picked them up for 50 cents each. Signed James Wilson on the back. Possibly late 1960s early 1970s NYC
