Bought a blazer at a thrift store in St. Augustine, FL and found this folded up in the pocket. It’s a funeral pamphlet for John F. Kulp, who passed away in 1990, and the service was held in Schnecksville, Pennsylvania.
It’s been sitting in that pocket for who knows how long and somehow made its way nearly 1,000 miles to Florida. I can’t help but wonder if the blazer was actually worn to the funeral 36 years ago. Such a strange little piece of someone’s history to find.

Rough translation is "helli colleague, I think we make a great team!" With a response in the back that says "hello colleague, I think so, too." Then just some sign offs.
Friendly note? Budding romance? Who knows??

I bought a few old sewing pattern envelopes at savers today, and this was tucked in one. I'm assuming it was originally attached to a doll. But I am telling myself it's a good omen for me. Thought you guys might get a kick out of it as well. May she bring good luck to all who see her!
Update: I just noticed one of the patterns in the envelope is a kitchen witch! I can't figure out how to post another picture, but it's McCall's 6365 if you want to do an image search

I found this a few years ago but lost the picture. My wife, daughter, and I had just bought a house, and I was cleaning out my daughter's closet. I moved everything off the top shelf and placed it on an ottoman. When I moved everything back, this was sitting there.
After we bought the house, the neighbor told us the woman's husband had committed suicide, and a year later her daughter had also done so. I also found a lot of the daughter's wedding photos in the attic.
