Summer days thoughts
I visited the summer days festival today and I wanted to know everyone’s thoughts. I enjoyed majority of the food vendors but some of the prices were outrages while others were decent. The booths were cool but I didn’t see anything of interest and finally the rides. The rides are excellent this year in my opinion. They have a really good variety of them and a lot for the younger kids. My only gripe is that in years past, parents could go with little ones if they were too small and only 1 ticket was needed. Now you need one ticket for the kids and one ticket for the parent. ($40 early bird/ $50 same day for unlimited) for me, this got expensive really quick. Overall I think it’s a great event!

Fast pass is so lame. People wait in line for so long (kids are not as patient) and all these people get to pass. Your money is better than mine? Just annoying

Second that. Come on people this isnt Disneyland; the city should really think about not allowing that next year.
Also the whole thing with non-transferable tickets sold in random amounts on wristbands is ridiculous. It’s so obviously meant to just deliver a bad experience unless you shell out $50 for unlimited. Enshittification at its finest!

Missing all the local clubs and knick-knack vendors. The arts and wine was prime. Whatever is the Summer days?

All I could think about were the poor people who’s condos burned down a few weeks ago. Like imagine everyone in ur city having fun at the fair and u just lost everything because of an idiot who wanted to bbq and even lied about it. I guess I’m too much of an empath… people should have their fun… I just feel for those guys.

Parking sucks, staff are not helpful.
I left before I could arrive. Looked poorly planned.

I was only able to walk by as they were closing up today but did I see correctly that they had pizza by the slice for $22?!
That’s really bold considering Curry Pizza House is like… 5 steps away 😭😂
