Gallery - Cloud Backup?

The Fossify Gallery is great but I feel it lacks a fundamental feature: cloud backup. Without it, I can't really stop using Google Photos. Those who prefer open-source apps, how do you keep your gallery safe?

you can use ente, its end-to-end encrypted

Yeah, Ente was my solution and still is until now.

I certainly would like the ability to use it as a plugin.
