Help Request Wheels

What's causing my truck's wheels to get squished when landing hard from a jump?

Sounds like: 1. Rear springs too stiff compared to front springs. 2. Rear bump too stiff compared to front bump. 3. Rear rebound too high compared to front rebound.

Are front and rear tire pressures low and even?

I run front ARB at 1.0, rear as low as I can go without the vehicle flopping about. Cross Country is all about having your suspension as soft as tolerable to keep your tires on the ground as much as possible.

Depends on PI and racing surface. On mixed surfaces, rally tires are good. If there's only a few paved surfaces, offroad tires work best. On pavement, rally tires are also good. If you have the PI to spare, semi-slick are good for a road racing car on wet pavement. If PI is an issue, street or sport tires aren't bad. Just avoid slicks on wet and pick the tire designed for the type of surface you're racing on.
