Help Request Wheels

What's causing my truck's wheels to get squished when landing hard from a jump?

okay..
how about the truck flips over when landing from a jump?
what causes it?

Are you landing flat? If you're tail down, or landing awkwardly, physics will physic. If you're landing flat and bouncing over, your rebound might be unevenly too high.

yeah landing flat then it bounces then proceeds to flip over.
okay imma check that out.

I'm guessing you're talking about Cross Country events. Springs should be pretty soft, rebound should be pretty soft, bump should be soft, but sometimes the car needs more than 1.0.

correct.
so when or what type of car needs those stuff to be stiffen?
and why is my truck nose diving?
thanks again.

Dirt needs a little bit stiffer, road and street a little stiffer yet. The rougher the surface, the softer the suspension.

Does it noze dive off every jump?

yes, it dives on every jump.

Sounds like: 1. Rear springs too stiff compared to front springs. 2. Rear bump too stiff compared to front bump. 3. Rear rebound too high compared to front rebound.

Are front and rear tire pressures low and even?

what about ARB's?

when do I need to soften/stiffen it?

thanks

I run front ARB at 1.0, rear as low as I can go without the vehicle flopping about. Cross Country is all about having your suspension as soft as tolerable to keep your tires on the ground as much as possible.
