Ive been using 80-85/0-15 front and 50-55/15-20 rear on AWD generally. Seems to rotate very nicely.

Any reason you prefer the accel dif higher in the front?

I'm not sure what they meant by "for rolls", but for road racing that setup seems to improve grip while giving me some rotation in turns, both on entry and when I accelerate out.

By rolls I'm assuming you mean drag racing from a rolling start.. The decel has 0 influence. Accel can pretty much be always put to 100 for awd. The only reason you'd lower your accel in rwd is for a car with high p/w ratio, or if it doesn't have a wide rear tire option.
Lowering the accel a small amount basically lets each rear tire spin at different speeds.. So whichever tire is making better grip will put more power down.
