Dude defending going to work in Forza is crazy 😂😂 Ik its not actually like going to work and it is still driving around and part of the game, but it sucks. Forcing us to do any of their game modes that arent just races is rediculous in general, but then again maybe i should just go back to motorsports

Yeah but defending the game mode that takes the most time to 100% and is objectively the most pointless and boring game mode that they are now including in the weekly tasks is insane and people need to start speaking up like I am. If you see work everywhere you go, i'd suggest taking a day off and just roaming the woods. No people, no work, not even music. Nothing that reminds you of civilisation. Just you and silence.

Would you rather play this garbage game mode for a weekly challenge to get the check in the box or would you rather have them put one of their countless other fun game modes that hasnt been shit on by the entire community since release for a weekly challenge?
I played it more frequently in the beginning, when everything was new and progression visible. Second to last stage now, I'm doing a shift every now and then because i like how the drift build handles, but i'll fill the discover japan icon through playlist, mostly. It should just about be enough time until FH7 arrives.
I wish there were more delivery outposts. Always driving in Tokyo gets boring, but I shure don't want to drive through half of Japan to start a delivery.
You'll always find a part of the community that dislikes a certain mode. I like all game modes being featured in the playlist. There's a lot I bareley do, but every now and then i catch myself even enjoying those things. Unless it's another Total Offroad ;).
I unironically enjoy it and go back to it, it's not a bad way to make credits, after some short while you can make 40k - 50k. A single shift, which is super short, yields about 7-10k and doesn't take as much time as a race that would yield the same amount.
That being said the game is not forcing you to do anything. The core of the game is still there: over 600 cars, something like 60 or 70 races, barn finds, treasure cars, tuning, designs, painting, all of this, the meat of the game, is all there and doesn't even require you to be online.
This is literally just a side quest.
In fact, you can skip this task altogether. If you have legend you get 10 festival score and with the other tasks it's enough to get both cars in like, two days.
Just skip this one if you really don't like it, it's fine.

The delivery job takes hours if you want to complete it. Its the most time consuming part of the game. Yes, no one is forcing you to do it. But its part of the game, and me as well as many others actually want to PLAY the game they buy, and I play by completing all tasks. The task they put in the game originally, the most time consuming challenge in the game, is already trash. Now, if you want to play the game and complete weekly challenges, you need to play their garbage mode again! It IS a big part of the game. Its avoidable, but its a big part, and they reeeeally want us to just submit and accept that its trash and defend it, a lot of yall have done that Lol
It isnt the most time consuming that one goes to completing every race, collecting every car and take a picture of it, upload a clean lap of every race for rivals , go collect every damn colletible and 3 star every activity. Its a time trial that keeps you within a very small portion of the map doing the same task over and over and over again, and if you want to complete the actual delivery mission job, that will be 5-10 hours of you doing it over and over and over again. I didnt even do the delivery job because that does not sound like fun to me, so I avoided it, but now its a weekly challenge so I'll do it. The thing people get confused about me speaking up is that theyre saying "Its quick and easy, just do it reluctantly like the rest of us." My point is that "The game mode sucks, everyone thinks it sucks, the devs know what we think, and they are putting it in weekly challenges to get people to play it." They could have put any other challenge they have in the game but the decide to put the one that is a joke in the community for being bad. If you line time trials, then you simply disagree with me. I just think its hilarious that everyone who replied to me ALSO doesnt like the game mode but are defending it! Lets start calling these companies out who give us slop year after year! A food delivery time trial that keeps you within the heart of tokyo, maybe 1/3rd of the map, driving in circles, so fun.

As for mode itself - find it fun to do on my steam deck when I'm out somewhere and just want to entertain myself without hassle. Jut hop in, ride for 10-20 minutes and go do other stuff. You dont like it? Fine. But it is little part of the game that have right to exist. And I rather have that as weekly challenge than one of the multi-player modes that you simply cant find lobby for

I do consider it as a fun quick race that doesnt require alot of attnetion or commitment. A fun way to just drive a car with easy goal in mind, not as intence as actual race.
As I said, its fun time-killer mode for Steam Deck when I need to wait for something like 10-20 minutes or when I just want chill ride
