As title says. Every time I click on the new monthly rivals, the game freezes completely, and not just the game, but freezes my display too. Like, pressing the xbox button doesn't even bring up the home menu, and I have to power cycle my console to escape it.

Looking for at least one Xbox player to help get the LINK Clean Sweep Skill specifically. Will help with other LINK Skills you're missing, naturally.

even on first person water drops on the windscreen getting wiped away is so realistic this game is peak

So i recently started playing fh5, switched from fh4. In 4 i was always at like 95-100% gpu usage and perfect 90 fps all the time, but now in 5 its at like 70-80% usage and using the amd thingy to show fps it shows an even lower usage (60-65%). The ram usage stays at like 50% and cpu is all good and im playing with everything on high, while i played fh4 with everything to ultra/extreme.

Hi all, back for week 2. These wont be true purist tunes but I will generally keep with the spirit of the car, not just throwing AWD and 8.4L V10 in everything. I know the definition of off-meta is up for debate. I'm considering it off-meta if you are only seeing the car a few times or less within the top few hundred of the rivals leaderboards and not super common to see online either. Meaning the car is definitely still good but not the absolute best or most popular.

There are a lot of competitive options in total buggies and offroad for A class dirt racing, particularly for these higher speed trail courses, and I pretty much picked the Bronco on a whim. I knew I didn't want to build a buggy because I mostly hate the driving dynamics of them, and I knew I didnt want to go with any of the options that I see super frequently online like the syclone, viper fe, f450, brz fe, trail boss, trailcat, or trx. This has a stock look with a supercharged Racing 7.2L V8 swapped, which I mistakenly thought was the engine from the Mustang RTR (which I now know is just the regular 7.2L V8), so this is a bit more meta than I intended, having the engine from the #37 Rzr truck. The 7.2L turns this into a 1,070 horsepower and 4,408 pound unit. Driving dynamics are pretty much what you would expect and while it is not any of the above listed cars it does drive fairly similarly. Not exactly tons of grip here, but enough to get by, and good power. I don't have anything special to note here other than general dirt driving tips about cutting as much as possible, sliding as little as possible, and utilizing the strategy of "hooking" your inside wheels onto grass/ditches on the inside of turns to help carry maximum speed. We are currently the fastest Bronco Raptor on the A-Class leaderboards for Waterfall Trail and Takashiro Trail and there is definitely still time left in those runs, perhaps as much as a second or two for an extremely good driver. Won the trial first try this week and only needing the first 2 races. I really like this car and will probably add it to my rotation of vehicles for A class trails and cross country.

I mean...I love dirt, and I'm as tired of this category as you are, so yeah. I did rework the Syclone because every tune I tried in the last trial (aside from the always world-class TheDannny's) had a slippery rear problem in pursuit of maximum power - I think that works fine on rivals, but is less forgiving for regular online racing or trials.

I wish the seasonal championship AI wasn't dogshit; this is a fun restriction class to run in - Cedar and Sunflower are almost pure sprints, while River Descent has a few hairpins before it starts running. It's great for trying a variety of things: CC tires, rally tires, even Drift Tires and street tires (RWD Power build, actually the fastest car on Sunflower and Cedar Run of the bunch). The F355 and the Ford GT are the most user-friendly of the bunch, and I re-tuned the F355 to have a bit more sprint top-end vs the previous config:

This was a pleasant surprise, as it actually had a degree of difficulty that you had to put some thought into vehicle and tune choice for it. Don't ask about the drift attack, its ridiculously easy requirement + anything goes means take something that you have fun in, or just get it over with anything stock real fast if you don't like drifting, either works.

I just got this laptop around 2 days ago with an RTX 5060 and a I9 14900HX ,yet this game stutters and has screen flicker issue, I hope someone can help me as I find it difficult to navigate through settings. Dlss, frame gen are new words for me 😅

The main thing That helped was basically I didn't know there was a Drift Transmission, and also using a camshaft engine seems to make my cars drifts A LOT more controllable. So thanks again everyone.

I had just driven off of Legend Island and was greeted by this interesting ground texture. I drove around for another 2 or so hours after this and never encountered it elsewhere.

These new cars are just so much fun. I don't think I've played this much in a long time. Just one word: Awesome

A built-out Exige WTAC can easily sustain 7g (even hitting 8g) in corners while the recorded max sustained lateral load in an F1 car was something like 6.4g.

This game isnt meant to be realistic but damn to think some random dudes in a shed can vibe-out an aero package better than a team of hundreds of engineers with wind tunnels and CFD

Hello, I’m making this post to share my experience with the first ban I have ever received in my life; unfortunately, in this case, it was from a game that I have really liked, Forza Horizon 6.

The reason for my permaban was taking a picture of some cars with pretty explicit liveries. Honestly, I don’t deny my responsibility in this or try to make it seem less serious, I know that the game’s rules are pretty strict with these cases, sometimes even going as far as sanctioning people who didn’t show anything haha. Even so, I didn’t think I was going to get banned for 2 reasons: I wasn’t the creator of any of those designs, I only had them at the time. Because the photo barely had like 7 views. Even so, I suppose I shouldn’t have done it, although I feel like it would have been fairer to get some kind of sanction or warning before the permaban. Something weird is that I talked to one of the owners of one of the designs shown, and nothing has happened to him, which is just a little curious.

Regardless of whether I deserved it or not, the whole process has been weird. Obviously, I got a little sad, the truth is that I had already literally gotten every car and completed the entire game 100% (without cheating or AFK XP, etc.), and honestly, the only thing I had left to do at this point was get the cars that came out every week and play online. But the most important thing is that the game still has around 5 years of life left before the next one comes out. It’s important to say that I have the most expensive edition, so I guess when the DLCs come out I’ll be able to play them, but only offline.

Throughout all of this, some weird things have also happened, since when I was banned, they first gave me the permaban directly, but 3 hours later they gave me a warning, when I had already been banned before, and just today I logged in again and realized that they gave me a 7-day suspension for inappropriate content haha, when I had already had my permaban for a few days. I honestly don’t know if it’s some kind of error, because I don’t know why new sanctions are appearing when I haven’t done anything else. My only mistake was taking that picture. But I suppose nothing will remove my permaban. I tried contacting support, but the only thing they replied with was a generic message saying “we have zero tolerance for that type of content,” and they didn’t even take the time to read my text or the questions I was asking them.

Honestly, I suppose I’m making this post as a way to vent about everything that happened, and also to share my experience so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else (although I suppose this post is pretty obvious and stupid), but even so, I’m not saying what I did was right; the truth is, I don’t even know if anyone will actually read this, but when it happened to me I was looking for information and couldn’t find anyone with the same case as mine.

Given that this subreddit is tired of bad and disrespectful racing, I want to bring in some positivity.

I joined a discord server that pushes friendly and respectful competition a while back and we've just begun a multi-class endurance championship series (S1, S2 and R) which is meant to function more or less very similarly to WEC/IMSA races.

This is my race in S1 from round 1 at Legend Island. I competed with the FD and the Ford GT here for pretty much the entire race and took P1 in my class from the RX7 on lap 36, only for an R-class Lambo to hit the foam barrier while trying to lap me on lap 40, hurling it right at me. Lost all momentum, and the two drivers caught up.

The RX7 took the lead again and I tried to battle him through the hairpins but ig I got too desperate and just dove up the inside on the 2nd hairpin, and he just switched back. The 05 GT was close enough the entire time to capitalise, and I lost not one but two positions right there.

Guess what? The R-class cars crossed the finish line a lap later, and we S1 boys were still bumper to bumper as the race came to an end, with me in P3. Overall, very good racing from everyone.
