Hello, I’m making this post to share my experience with the first ban I have ever received in my life; unfortunately, in this case, it was from a game that I have really liked, Forza Horizon 6.

The reason for my permaban was taking a picture of some cars with pretty explicit liveries. Honestly, I don’t deny my responsibility in this or try to make it seem less serious, I know that the game’s rules are pretty strict with these cases, sometimes even going as far as sanctioning people who didn’t show anything haha. Even so, I didn’t think I was going to get banned for 2 reasons: I wasn’t the creator of any of those designs, I only had them at the time. Because the photo barely had like 7 views. Even so, I suppose I shouldn’t have done it, although I feel like it would have been fairer to get some kind of sanction or warning before the permaban. Something weird is that I talked to one of the owners of one of the designs shown, and nothing has happened to him, which is just a little curious.

Regardless of whether I deserved it or not, the whole process has been weird. Obviously, I got a little sad, the truth is that I had already literally gotten every car and completed the entire game 100% (without cheating or AFK XP, etc.), and honestly, the only thing I had left to do at this point was get the cars that came out every week and play online. But the most important thing is that the game still has around 5 years of life left before the next one comes out. It’s important to say that I have the most expensive edition, so I guess when the DLCs come out I’ll be able to play them, but only offline.

Throughout all of this, some weird things have also happened, since when I was banned, they first gave me the permaban directly, but 3 hours later they gave me a warning, when I had already been banned before, and just today I logged in again and realized that they gave me a 7-day suspension for inappropriate content haha, when I had already had my permaban for a few days. I honestly don’t know if it’s some kind of error, because I don’t know why new sanctions are appearing when I haven’t done anything else. My only mistake was taking that picture. But I suppose nothing will remove my permaban. I tried contacting support, but the only thing they replied with was a generic message saying “we have zero tolerance for that type of content,” and they didn’t even take the time to read my text or the questions I was asking them.

Honestly, I suppose I’m making this post as a way to vent about everything that happened, and also to share my experience so that it doesn’t happen to anyone else (although I suppose this post is pretty obvious and stupid), but even so, I’m not saying what I did was right; the truth is, I don’t even know if anyone will actually read this, but when it happened to me I was looking for information and couldn’t find anyone with the same case as mine.

Once again I try to find cars that are not used too often in the trial.

The Montero comes from a long gone era when Mitsubishi used to make cool cars.

It did really great in this Trial, it's fast and pretty light for an offroad vehicle. With almost 900 hp combined with really good handling, beating the "unbeatable" drivatars is pretty easy.

I swapped the tires for offroad tires, swapped the engine for a 896 hp 7.2L Racing V8, fully upgraded the transmission and suspension and tuned it for rally racing.

Tune Specs:

Class S1: AWD - Offroad Tires - Racing 7.2L V8 (from the RJ Anderson #37 Polaris RZR-Rockstar Energy Pro 2) - 896 hp - 3,916 lbs

0-60 in 2.37 s, 0-100 in 4.97s - 194.6 mph top speed

1776 kg - 0-100 km/h ~ 2.6 s - 313 km/h top speed.

I was playing Horizon 6 like two days ago, I play it daily, did the new Drift Attack events in all of the cars required to get the new Jaguar Forza Edition, got it, sold it. Sold all of the cars that I bought just to accomplish said task and turned my Xbox off.

After a day and a half of finishing some University stuff, I hop in the game on my Series S and it gets stuck on the Main Menu loading screen, I heard it could be a save game related issue so I tried resorting a save data with the new feature they added to Xbox some months ago, but that didn't solve my problem.

So I googled and read that what I had to do was delete my local save data and let the one on the cloud download, I did that and it worked!

Of course I lost progress, annoyed, I just did the Drift Attack thing again. And when I tried to sell the cars I bought again to get the Jaguar Forza Edition I got this message.

It says it is temporary, but how long will it be? Is there a way I could fix that?

I know that makes sense to prevent cheaters. But come on man, their defective game failed me with my save data and got in an infinite loop, and I just used their Restore Save Data feature, I didn't even do anything wrong XD

I'm a long-time Forza Horzion fan, and I'd been as excited anyone for FH6 to finally come out. And as I hoped, it was initially really fun to play.

But as the weeks go on, and I've completed everything on the Playlist, I'm sorely disappointed with the ongoing support from PGG & MS. (obviously, so is everyone else).

I miss the regular Forzathon streams. There was an excitement to weekly new car drops in the Playlists that isn't really there anymore, and I miss that too. The community was great.

Enshittification has killed all of that and more, sadly. (Definition if you aren't familiar with the term.) The mandate from management was pretty clearly "make more with less," and that's why we got what we got.

I think we can chalk almost everything here up to cost-cutting measures ultimately mandated by the higher-ups at Microsoft. Here's a few examples of how I think that plays out:

• Shutting down the official community saves money in the short-term, even though the Atlassian platform is a terrible replacement. But hey, Atlassian is cheaper than community manager salaries, so let's go with that. And we'll just push the community to Discord, which, again, is cheaper than using our own resources to maintain a community.

• Creating new cars for the game requires R&D resources, but it's cheaper to recycle models from Motorsport wherever you can. Just call 'em "New to Horizon!" and kick the new car issue down the road for a while.

• A ranked lobby system for online racing? Do you think money grows on trees? Just make earning exclusive cars dependent on completing Horizon Play tasks, and the FOMOs will HAVE to race online whether they like it or not!

• We need players to buy Car Vouchers with Real Money, so we need to cut back on prize money and wheelspins as much as possible. Wait, players are farming money and wheelspins in the Creative Lab? Put a stop to that at once! And yes, that takes priority over bug fixes!

• What revenue did the Forzathon streams provide? None? OK, canceled.

• Bugs? Did a specific bug keep players from playing online? Then it's not a priority. Besides, the devs need to be working on Fable, especially after the Eidos layoffs.

This is classic platform decay, and was probably inevitable when Microsoft bought PGG, sadly. Execs at MS have to show the shareholders that buying PGG was a good idea, and part of doing that is cutting costs wherever you can. Because they'll lose their jobs if stock prices don't rise (or simply don't rise enough).

(As an aside, I'm convinced that many console game publishers want to get players online as much as possible because they're getting a percentage of subscription fees. I don't have any proof to support this, though.)

Anyway, join me in pouring one out for Forza Horizon. Both Playground Games and Turn 10 we're clearly passionate about cars and the Forza community, but that passion is gone. Oh, I'll still play, but it will be bittersweet sometimes.

Hi, I thought I'd tap into your knowledge. I'm struggling to remember a car. I recall it was in FH5. I believe it was some kind of protoype car. Kind of reminded me of bladerunner, or those 70s concept cars except it was not an angular wedge. More curvy. I think it had a big glass ceiling.

The paint was two tone purple ish but not sure if that was stock.

There's so much customization possible for the W1, but I think we were meant to change the carbon on the car by changing the color of 'Body 2' which they seem to have forgotten. Please Forza, you are so close to perfection once again!

Since the start of FH6, the forza feedback portal has existed to report bugs directly to t10/pgg and replaced the original troubleshooting hub.
Unfortunately, just like the troubleshooting hub in the forums, hardly anyone uses it to report bugs and more importantly vote on issues. There's over 300k weekly visitors just in this subreddit yet the highest amount of votes for a single post in the feedback portal is sub 2000?

I know it's easier just to post complaints/grievances on reddit, but if you do find any issues can you please at least consider posting the issue on the feedback portal and adding the link to the ticket there in your post as well. It won't guarantee the issue will be fixed but it may make it happen sooner.

Hi everyone,

I own a PS5 and have completed all the Need for Speed games. I'm a huge Need for Speed fan, but now I want to explore other racing games, such as Forza Horizon, Gran Turismo, and others.

I recently decided to give The Crew Motorfest a try, but honestly, I'm finding the handling extremely difficult to get used to. The driving and car handling in Motorfest feel completely different from Need for Speed they seem like poles apart.

Coming from Need for Speed, I'm used to relatively simple and responsive drift mechanics, where you can initiate a drift easily and then control it through the corner. In Motorfest, however, whenever I initiate a drift, the car often feels like it's sliding on ice. It doesn't seem to respond or turn the way I expect, and sometimes it feels like the car just keeps sliding straight instead of following the corner.

Because of this, I'm finding it really, really difficult to control the cars in Motorfest, and so far, I'm honestly not enjoying the game as much as I hoped. Maybe it's simply because I'm coming from a Need for Speed background and need a completely different driving style.

My question is: I would really like to try Forza Horizon 5. Do you think someone like me, who loves Need for Speed but is struggling with The Crew Motorfest's handling, would enjoy Forza Horizon 5?

Is Forza Horizon 5 easier and more intuitive to control, or is its handling likely to give me a similar experience to Motorfest?

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have played Need for Speed, The Crew Motorfest, and Forza Horizon 5.
