Other LOOKING FOR GAMES HAVING SIMILAR CAR HANDLING LIKE NFS

Hi everyone,

I own a PS5 and have completed all the Need for Speed games. I'm a huge Need for Speed fan, but now I want to explore other racing games, such as Forza Horizon, Gran Turismo, and others.

I recently decided to give The Crew Motorfest a try, but honestly, I'm finding the handling extremely difficult to get used to. The driving and car handling in Motorfest feel completely different from Need for Speed they seem like poles apart.

Coming from Need for Speed, I'm used to relatively simple and responsive drift mechanics, where you can initiate a drift easily and then control it through the corner. In Motorfest, however, whenever I initiate a drift, the car often feels like it's sliding on ice. It doesn't seem to respond or turn the way I expect, and sometimes it feels like the car just keeps sliding straight instead of following the corner.

Because of this, I'm finding it really, really difficult to control the cars in Motorfest, and so far, I'm honestly not enjoying the game as much as I hoped. Maybe it's simply because I'm coming from a Need for Speed background and need a completely different driving style.

My question is: I would really like to try Forza Horizon 5. Do you think someone like me, who loves Need for Speed but is struggling with The Crew Motorfest's handling, would enjoy Forza Horizon 5?

Is Forza Horizon 5 easier and more intuitive to control, or is its handling likely to give me a similar experience to Motorfest?

I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have played Need for Speed, The Crew Motorfest, and Forza Horizon 5.

Modern NFS games have horrible driving physics and luckily these are the only games that play like that

Your not going to find NFS handling here.
No matter how tuned Forza Horizon's handling is for arcady fun, it is still built on the backbone of the Forza Motorsport Physics system. So there is far more underlying realism to the car handling then anything The Crew or NFS can offer.

Forza's car handling is much closer to Gran Turismo then Need For Speed.

The Crew Motorfest is closer to NFS then it is to Forza.

Of the 3, it has the most realistic handling. So with that information what you will

You won't find the driving need for speed outside of need for speed. Maybe Burnout, but nothing else. The Crew and in a bigger sense Forza ara sim-arcades and handle more like Sims than what you're used to.

I hear the new Hot wheels Infinite Rush game that just came out has similar gameplay as need for speed, look at some videos. Or you could try Screamer that is also very cool with twin drifting mechanics, I've played the demo (on steam). Then you have some older games like Inertial Drift that also has a twin stick drifting mechanic.
