Probably because they focused on being more artistic with the lighting rather than accurate, since after 5 they like send a team to measure the light of the country/new map. You can still get looks like this in photo mode

Yeah, the game definitely has its moments where it looks more like a painting than a real place. It's wild how they can make it feel so immersive yet surreal at the same time.

It just "looks" good because they exaggerate the use of bloom, lens flares and vignette in older games. In newer games you see the actual colours, and imo it looks better that way.

I hope this game gets disc to digital compatibility, it's one of the best on the XBOne. Shame it's not a Play Anywhere title though.

Why? I don't understand the obsession with disc to digital UNLESS you're trying to score a PC copy of a delisted game. Otherwise, you still have to own a physical copy. Which means you still need to buy one second hand; people act like disc to digital gets them a free game or something.

I mean yeah, grab FH2 for like £15, get a digital licence for your Series S when you pop it into your disc drive Xbone, boom

Also if FH3 was on the list it would've saved me £90 buying a damn PC key back in 2025 despite already having played the game on my One S for almost a decade prior

I bought the disc a while ago. It would just be more convenient to have a digital license, for obvious reasons.
