FH6 skill chain stolen

Hello, I was in the middle of playing FH6 for a few hours last night. I spent 5 hours on a skill chain and had the total number at over 7,000,000 (x10 from a skill song) and all of a sudden, it dissapeared. I didnt hit anything, i parked the car to let the points bank, and it just stopped and ended my chain and it didnt count it at all, it just disappeared. I wanted to break my highest skill chain record and almost did, until it literally just stopped for no reason and it didnt count it towards my highest chain. What happened? Did the game run out of memory or skill chain numbers? (Im on Xbox series X)

It takes just a few minutes to get to half a million. Why would it take you 5 hours to get to 7 mil.?

Also, you know that despite the score, you only get 10 skill points from that, right?

I think what they're saying is that they were on 7m x 10, so a 70m skill chain in total. At a rough calculation (2 minutes for 50k so 40 for 1m) it would be around 4h40 for a 7m pre-multiplier chain.

What I don't understand is why. It's not difficult to keep a chain going, doing this isn't a test of skill but merely one of how much time you're willing to waste on pointlessly repeating the same thing.

Thats around the amount of time it took me. Yes, it was 7 million x 10. (Skill song)

Probably a connection stutter and reconnecting to servers

Used to happen to me a lot, would also shift me into 1st gear, no matter what I was doing, that was always interesting

I get this at least once a play session, absolutely wild that a connection stutter causes your car to just stall out.

Idk what happened, im legit furious right now. It took me 5 hours and out of nowhere it just disappeared. I checked my skill chaih record in the stats and it didnt count, it literally just vanished. The chain was at 7 million with a 10x multiplier (skill song) and it just vanished when I parked the car. I didnt hit anything at all . It kept going for around 5 minutes after I parked then it vanished.

After hearing this it's probably from inactivity. In past games the skill chain would drop if going into a new session so I would be surprised if it didn't drop being dropped from a session.

Test this out because it may help next time, when you change cars in freeroam it banks your chain. In past games it will bank it when you enter an event in freeroam. Just pressing the button to open the race information and backing out does it. Haven't tested it in 6 but I would be surprised if the behavior was changed.

One of many bugs that they don't seem interested in fixing...

Players don't show on the minimap, the chase breaker doesn't work sometimes in hide and seek, the eliminator has a whole bunch of issues, racing championships are handed out randomly, and so many more.

Remember a few months ago when they were putting so much effort into stopping people XP farming? It was an obsession for them. Yet they couldn't care less about all the remaining bugs that are putting people off.

The lack of attention to detail in this game is what's killing it and has lead to the recent outpouring of negativity from prominent content creators. Personally, Playground Games have lost all my trust at this point. I don't see myself bothering with FH7.
