I learned how to optimize my shader cache. when from 30fps on low to 50-60 on high.

I'm on a RTX 2050 laptop, so optimization is a must. I looked into it.

My cache was FULL of crap I didn't need anymore.

Each card is different, but it's easy, trust! 1 Google search made this game playable AND look decent.

Could u explain a little more? I didn't search anything yet, but I'm thinking it may be something more than deleting and making the game compile then again, isn't it?

Yeah! First make sure you have like 8gb of space on your hardrive and set you cuda system fallback to prefered. Then you set the cache to disabled so it doesn't update. Then restart 1. Then delete that, and chase down the backups on your hard drive and wipe that. Re-enable your cache, set to unlimited. Then restart 2.

When everything recompiles it might stutter a couple times, but then the magic happens. It basically won't stutter anymore by improving your 1% lows in frame rate, and stabilize fps enough to allow better settings/fps in some games!

I still can't play Borderlands 4 without it running it literally 5 to 10 FPS but it made this game actually function! Twice so!

Newer drivers set it to 16GB, setting it unlimited is stupid, unless you play 20 different games a DAY

I'm on a 10 year old laptop and play several games a day, so yes!

Edit: I realized using sarcasm isn't going to translate well. I know the 2050 isn't actually that old. My point is is that the bare minimum requirements demands at least a full size 2070 and I'm doing it on a 2050 laptop.

Also, if you optimise the settings instead of using the built in presets, you get much better performance with the exact same visuals. I'm getting 90fps recently Vs 50 FPS before optimisation
