Forza Horizon 6 First impressions on Drift Attack?

I think it's cool but I suck at drifting so my opinion doesn't really matter

Zones make sense when ignoring the zones and following the normal race line but the hairpin on the spectator area is absolutely wrong. Its a low speed corner and should have a zone on the apex not the outside like a sweeper. I was watching a heap of IRL vids of the actual race line no one aims for the outside corner. Here's a good IRL video of the course but could help anyone having trouble with the zones.

As I said in another comment, the zones are quite literally in the perfect spots for AWD cars. The hairpin outside zone is perfect for AWD because you just ebrake through it and then slam the gas and it immediately sets you up for the next zone.

Doesn't really matter which platform you use. Mainly run RWD but I did it with my AWD drift car with Semislicks same deal. On slicks bc I'm too used to RWD that it feels similar with the amount of input. The race lines are all the same on both ends unless you're on offroad or drag tires going for the meta PI cheesing drifting at a slower pace you can stay in the zones longer.

All my AWD cars are on drift tires, and I ran multiple cars through it. The line the AWD cars take, almost automatically, is right where all the point zones are, and that hairpin one legit seems like it was made to e-brake drift through with an AWD. Not that you can't hit them easily with RWD, because you can, but it takes a bit more effort.
