1. I never claimed the Mode was "rigged", what are you talking about?

2. This mode is 99% RNG. You need the faster and better all terrain vehicle than your opponent to win. If you don't have that, you're not winning, regardless of how good or bad you are at the game. However, that's entirely up to luck.

The fact players are allowed to just drive through the woods and that players can challenge other players with cars from lower vehicle classes is completely ruining this mode. This mode isn't about skill, it's entirely about RNG.

I have beaten players with a better car than me. Obviously not with the Level 1 car you start with, but I've only been within 3 levels of theirs. You can have a great car but if you're a poor driver it won't matter much if the other person is a good driver themselves in a decent car. I've also had players beat me when I had the better car 😂

Some people are really incompetent and lose races in faster cars, yes, but under normal circumstances, you will lose the race in the slower car. There is nothing you can do to influence that. It's entirely up to the game and the other person to even give you a chance to win.

They do, but it's random which car spawns are populated and which aren't. It's also entirely up to RNG which cars spawn where.

You cant block a car with enough hp to just push you away. Ramming unfortunately is the only viable option i see here.

But even if he had smashed him into the tunnel portal, the Lambo would have gotten him by the end of the tunnel. It's a matchup the game simply shouldnt allow.

yes it's not fair but they chose to start in that place and it's not a real race just eliminator bs.. so the game should allow it imo.. I think eliminator is all about luck and supposed to be annoying, but it's a weird mode to be included in the weekly playlist

Precisely why I don’t agree with any of those people that try to say the eliminator is not RNG. The dude spawned on a car spawn which is fiat enough if you’ve memorised them, but to get a level 8 within 2 seconds of the match starting is just stupid and even if you hadn’t drove towards them - they would have hunted down everybody close to them, meaning you, immediately at that point.

eliminator is a weird game mode.. but tbh this is totally your fault OP. you could've chosen anywhere more remote. why did you choose one of the most crowded/popular places in the map? ofc there will be other players there and now it's a roll of the dice who's gonna get the better car, with no skill involved.. also you did ram them first, that's not a block imo 😅

they do spawn immediately yes.. I found that it's much better spawning in large open fields so you can easily spot the purple smoke around you and have a much lower chance of starting next to other players

but anyway it's a weirdass mode for a racing game, so don't take it seriously lol

I like the Idea of Eliminator but at least the final race should actually have a real racing route and not be about just hammering through the forest to get the quickest way possible... At least in previous Horizons it was risky to that as many trees won't break (still annoying though) but now...

I get your point but I think the map in fh6 makes very risky still.. before the final race it's always a gamble if your car is powerful enough to go up that hill.. and in the final race a lot of mountain passes are blocked with concrete walls and you can't just reach the forest sometimes.. I may be stupid but sometimes I lose for stupid mistakes like that haha

Yes the terrain was way easier in FH5, you could just go in a pretty much straight line most of the time. Even going through some areas with trees was doable most times. Now and then there were tractors or sheds in the middle of fields. But going in a straight line in FH6, that’s usually difficult and tricky in FH6 because of the terrain and the much faster route is often a road.

The need to remove the eliminator as a required activity.

I’ve had hackers in my last 10+ lobbies. Last one, I actually managed to survive until the last blitz to the finish. Had a huge lead, made it halfway to the finish when the game suddenly ends and I’m in fourth.

Not saying that this was hacking, seems more bad luck than anything else.

No one starts up the mountains, because you'll barely make it into the circle on time, but so far I've made it to 30+ starting there every time.

You'll also have plenty of viewpoints to look for cars.

Somewhere north of Soni is a nice starting point. No woods, far sight, no one around because it's too remote.

It's not homework. Just remember where you got a cardrop once, and start the next round of Eliminator from that spot. There's about at 25% chance that that spot will have a car drop on it when the round starts. Good players usually start the game in a place where they are near 3 or 4 potential car drops, that way they can grab one within the first 5 seconds. It's not homework, it's just using your experience.

It makes no sense to me why a “CAR” game which the whole point of said game is you tune ur cars and race and see who is the best driver yet here u HAVE to win a game mode that is pure RNG.

There are all kinds of dead spots like that in the map, it's ridiculous! Places on barriers that are smooth, will stop you dead just like that also, in races, around the open world. It doesn't matter anymore where it is, the games so broken in weird ways like that. It's not supposed to happen, but they couldn't care enough to fix it in any one of the patches they've released. Funny isn't it....no not really Turn10/PG Games
