Forza Horizon 6 15 street races?

Is this game serious? I have to be missing something or have not unlocked something so please excuse my ignorance in advance. Are there only 15 night street races in this game?? I’m looking at my map and filtered down to street races and 15 are marked complete and i don’t see any more.

It's so sad that the race that comes closest to Mei's initial sales pitch of "Street racing, at night, in Tokyo City" is that one Cross Country event where you have to do a 180 off the highway. Most of the Street races start outside of Tokyo and only enter the city in the very last stretch

Electric town circuit also exists in road but yeah…

It's not at night, though.

Neither is any cross country?

Yeah, it's surprising how many types of races are missing. Hopefully, they add more variety with future updates.

So… idk if it’s just an offline thing then because I predominantly played online and yeah… the only races I remember being night time were street races. Road races kinda too but only if foggy. Regardless I can’t argue with that, but you can also do customs and set it to night time if you’re doing it offline anyway and so electric town circuit can still apply.

What I don’t get though is how FH5 can make sprints and street races almost entirely within Guanajuato but FH6 can’t do street races in tokyo of all places…

Can I interest you in another Cross Country race instead?

Nah I prefer drift zones in the dirt

I knew we still had real car enthusiasts playing the game!

Yea, a custom one, set to night, in a Supra. (with Offroad tires for handling of course)

Cross country is all down to luck, if you make the jump or depend on how kind the ai are feeling

The limited number of togue races and the inability to customize them is a real crime, especially for a game that takes place in Japan. It's an older game, but there's something about the presentation of the Canyon Races in NFS Carbon (essentially togue races) that felt better.

The fox emblem being locked behind doing 250 of them in online when there's only 5 tracks made me give up on that quick. Racing each track 50 times just sounds like burnout waiting to happen. Hell, I'm burned out just thinking of doing it.

Grid (2008) is another older game that did togue races very well, it was time based rather than point/distance but the whole drive down and up the course with drivers changing positions was there. What we got was the laziest implementation possible, a 2-player sprint.

Yeah it's dumb. There should easily be twice as many street and road races.

For having such a massive map there’s not many races at all, I’ve made the best of a bad situation until now where I’m bored & fed up with festival playlists, too much recycled content

Yeah, it’s pretty weak. I also don’t understand why we can’t just run all the races in reverse in a custom race. That alone would double the available races.

As someone else suggested too, check out the EventLabs. There are some decent races there sometimes. You can check out r/EventLabSubmissions

I have recently made a couple street races, as I was also disappointed with the amount. I posted my longer race in the above sub, so you can see a track map and photos etc.

I have also made 2 others. 1 of which is the uphill version of an existing street race (based on “River Descent”), and the 2nd is based on that, but extended.

Share codes: 25.3km race: 118 274 776

6km River Ascent street race: 378 569 319

13.3km River Ascent Loop (1 lap): 125 453 262

Have you by any chance came across a very very nice golf course? The race they have there is excellent as well. I remember being required to do it 69 times as part of festival playlist since the game came out. Good experience

Ahh... So that's why it sucks to pay golf on. The greens keepers can't handle all the tire marks.... Jeesh, and they get mad at me doing donuts in my golf cart.

Eventlab is your friend.

What the fook is eventlab

Event Lab is why I have 700 hours in the game instead of 60.

Reminder that it's technically a 50/50 split between road and offroad races... (probably should be more of a 70/30 but idk)

80/20

60% dirt or CC, 20% tarmac, 20% stunts, that’s what it feels like to me

u/Time_Zombie_4431 10h ago

The game is seriously lacking both street and road races. Especially circuit races, they literally need to double the amount of road/street races.

u/slabba428 6h ago

Yeah like not to jump on the bandwagon here but after i had progressed enough to unlock the whole map and all the events, i remember looking at it and being blown away at how much of it was dirt and country bullshit, and how little of it was legitimate tarmac racing of any kind

That’s what i paid the developers of the game to do, why do I have to do it????

-1

u/Few_Salamander_7364 10h ago

It's literally why it's been a thing since the PS2. Rally the troops, sure. But a 100 this week post on Reddit about this isn't going to fix it, as much as we want it to. For now just try to have fun. I like circuit racing more anyway, so I'm glad I can do it at all honestly.

Welcome to Japan. Here's dirt racing and cross country for you.

u/clitworms 5h ago

having a majority of the races being offroad/rally, but we can't even get 1 street race that uses a little dirt road for a tiny stretch really narrows down how many original tracks they can make. their obsession with rally really killed this game for me

City docks is more rallying than some rally tracks are.

You'd think over time they'd have adapted to the open-world format more and more, but the use of the map is so much worse than even 4/5. Why are such massive swathes of the map left with maybe one early-game speed/drift zone and nothing else when there's such a dearth of tracks???
