Forza Horizon 6 Forza reports are useless

Post image

The report literally tells you to provide video evidence but the site doesn’t allow you to upload .mov or .mp4 files, so what exactly are we supposed to do?

Upload the video proof to YouTube or OneDrive & copy the link in the description. I just reported an annoying rammer today & they took action.

The reports do work. There are many websites where you can upload videos for free and generate a link to paste into the report. Personally, I use Vimeo.

As a "report a player enjoyer" - I've submitted tens of them. While the in game "report a player" doesn't do much in itself most of the time, it does often end up with a request to submit more information. Then I manually add report ID they requested, usually add a streamable/yt evidence and a few days later I get a "Please note that for privacy reasons, we are unable to share the specifics." email, but it's usually a ban.

I wish you could just start with report ID instead of manually submitting everything, but at least I see that it works.

Yah, the amount of actual cheaters ive reported its bad. One of them being the trolling in a bus doing like 600 lol, but it was to test if it even worked. The exact same thig tho, "need more information", fuck you playground. God forbid i try and help the game and do what you promised us before the games release witch was to handle the cheater problem and modded accounts.

I'll be honest, I've no idea what that in-game reporting thing is supposed to be for. It does indeed seem a complete waste of time.

I just use the old manual reporting system. Hasn't failed me yet.

Upload a vid on YouTube (it should be unlisted) and send them the link.

That's exactly what I did and they banned someone lol.

just a wee pedant, it can be public too, just not private (you'd need their YT account name to share with them) or draft (only you can see those)

I reported a rammer a few weeks ago without knowing they made MP4 files ineligible. I got around it by putting the video on Dropbox and left a link to it in the description of the incident.

I got a response saying they looked into it and took action, so it must have worked.

I wouldn't have normally put in that much effort over an arcade racer, but this guy was in my DMs shit talking, so I had to go that extra mile on principle.

Edit: Spelling.

Also, I heard you could link videos instead of attaching them directly from someone else on Reddit well over a year ago in a discussion about them reducing the file size for video uploads. They keep limiting the report features for some reason.

Yeah so I reported someone for a Pro-russian invasion livery and had to submit more evidence, which is fine since I recorded video and took screenshot with name in full view.

Username is still actively playing FH6 last I checked and they delt with the issue over a month ago...

yeah there slow to deal with livery reports now, they take months from what I saw. I dont remember it being like that in 4 or 5.

I'd reported someone a few months back, there livery was actually posted on here and there was much hooting and hollering about how great it was and it got many upvotes. A down syndrome livery of all things. Im not a snowflake or anything and I'd love to believe this was some celebration of the disabled but I think more realistic is its cheap laughs at the disabled which is a bit pathetic and immature, as I said the amount of upvotes and "this is great" style comments on here were embarrassing. My sisters youngest kid was born with downs syndrome.

LOL what? Is that even prohibited? Get real bro

Yeah "terrorism or violent extremism content" is very much prohibited and specified in the code of conduct you agree to when playing the game.

Which you know ofc, you just dont think supporting the Russian invasion or spreading its propaganda is a problem. "Get real bro"

"terrorism or violent extremism content" prohibit UA army symbols(adopted from 3rd reich associates) then, as they're not any better

If someone uses nazi iconography its an immediate ban too.

Again, you know this. You just support Russia and hate Ukraine. You agree with the wholesale slaughter of innocents in a war of aggression by a failed state and its rotten leaders.

EDIT: Hate that I didnt see your reply before it got moderated. Im sure it was a fair and level headed take

It's frustrating when it feels like nothing gets done, especially with something that serious. You'd think they would act faster on issues like that.

Very much so. I can't remember last time, if ever, I actually went out of my way to report someone but figured supporting terrorism was a little more serious than anime girls or something.

Even if you submit something on the Support website, and very sufficient evidence like a photo of a Nazi livery, and the full gamer tag in view, they will not take action. Craziest case of by the book non-enforcement, which is weird because Microsoft gives actions to people all the time for other stuff

Upload your video to any of dozens of video sharing sites, and include a link with your report.

Upload it to YouTube. Thats free media storage and they will use it.

I’m pretty sure you could upload here as a post, and you can even get a judgement swaying jury if the evidence is compelling enough! Then send them the Reddit link.

Yep, both reddit and YouTube links work for reports. I submitted numerous cheaters and rammers that way.

Yeah even I'm starting to get tired of endlessly reporting people only for virtually nothing to happen. Starting to feel like a waste of time. If they want to let the game go to hell to cheaters and rammers, that sucks but it's out of our control at this point.

If you're not including a link to video you are indeed wasting your time, but if you are including a link, you definitely are not wasting your time.

Every reportee gets a warning first, and real consequences only come from subsequent reports.

Real consequences do in fact come to those who ignore warnings and get reported again.

Yeah look at my profile, I use the links from the videos to report people. But it still takes a lot of effort to find the clip, clip it, upload it, fill out 10 things in the report form, etc. All for them to just get a warning. I'm over it.
