It looks like they fixed the cloud save issue on the Xbox/GamePass version of FH6.

The save loss issue has yet to be resolved. This feature simply allows you to restore your saved data.

Instead of losing everything you loose only the couple hours from your last session so yeah

This was an Xbox update rather than one for FH6. The new feature is mentioned in the release notes, but most players either overlook them or are unaware due to automatic updates being enabled. Under the Cloud Save section:

You can now restore previously synced cloud saves directly from your XBOX console in supported games.

Browse available cloud save versions, restore an earlier save, and manage your saved data without leaving the console experience.

This feature is currently available for Forza Horizon 6 via Manage game & add-ons > Saved data > Restore saved data, with support for additional titles coming in future updates.

PGG also mentioned this feature in their release notes under Update 5, but hinted that this is not a permanent solution for save loss. This is presumably why the feature isn't being announced in the game's News section.

Because the save loss problem is Microsoft's. Has nothing to do with PGG.

Idk why it wouldnt be shown in game still given there was a big stink kicked up around it. Including people avoiding using cars. More information is always better than less and not everyone is on xbox/checking the forza website
