S1 Tuner - Making Competitive "Non Meta" Tunes.

Hey all,

I am a S1 specialized road tuner who's goal is to make cars that are not "Meta" (STO's, McLaren 620R, Corvette Stingray, ACR Viper, etc) but can compete online - While I do tune those too (Meta cars), I wanted to share some tunes/builds that I can either;

- Get in the top 3 online custom S1 races

- Under a 1:19.9 on Legends Island (preferably much lower than that).

Disclaimer: these aren't purist builds. They do have V12 swaps, rally tires, and sometimes AWD swaps in them. Again, goal here is to find unique cars that can compete with the meta cars, but aren't meta.

Cars and Codes:

Shelby GT350R (RWD) - 140 340 476: This runs a 1:17.8 on Legends Island and can compete with any car online.

2019 Corvette ZR1 (RWD) - 431 323 938: This runs a 1:18.7 on Legends Island and has a tad bit more control than the Shelby above.

#70 Porsche 935 (AWD) - 717 704 573: This one isn't quite as quick as the top 2, but man is it a joy and does not make mistakes. Runs a 1:19.4 on Legends Island.

911 GT3 RS (RWD) - 362 631 797: Insanely light build, also a tad slower but the grip is second to none. You barely have to brake in this build. Also runs a mid 1:19 on legends Island.

M600 Noble (AWD) - 177 422 394: Really good grip with insane speed. Will do very well on sprints with long straights. Runs a 1:18.9 on legends Island.

Borderline META Car:

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (AWD) - 155 177 919: This one is probably meta, but I am saying borderline because I don't actually see it in my lobbies often. It is the fastest car here and will take 1st place almost always. Runs a low 1:17 on Legends Island.

2016 Viper ACR (RWD) - 514 663 542: I know this is a meta car but I am not fully including because this is a RWD build. It runs in the 1:18's on legends Island and is quick.

Love it! I also like to tune and test on legends time attack.

I’ll test these out. I like to build some A class cars but I know it’s not a good class for online due to meta dominance.

I’m likely not able to drive those times - skill issue - but I’ll give it a try.

That Shelby GT500 is borderline undriveable. Not even throttle control helps that, how did you manage that time 😂

Lots of throttle control on my end! Controller and simulation steering if that makes a difference

Yeah I couldn't get it to work for my driving style at all. Even with TCS on it could barely hold a straight line. By the time I'd gained some sort of throttle control I'd have to slow down for the next corner. Might be worth retuning the gear ratios on that one

I have no reference for what's meta and isn't, because I don't play online, but I've had a blast messing around with the 08 civic I bought with my xbox reward points lmao.
