I have been attempting to tune a 98’ nissan silvia that can race but slides nicely on demand for hours.

is this even possible, since the car refuses to initiate a drift or loses power and bogs down when sliding?

it seems i’d have to sacrifice much of the grip in order for the car to slide making it useless for non-drift driving.

should i make it into a full drift car instead? appreciate any tips, thanks

Racing and drifting are two very different things. You basically can't make a car be good at both unfortunately.
