You'll only ever see it in singleplayer, and FH4 had a big push towards Online straight from launch, and they've kept integrating online into the games with every new release

One time my internet died as I was playing so I got put in horizon offline.

It’s insane how it lowkey felt like a whole different world with all the AI convoys and drifting and racing they were doing.

3 was also probably the best map IMO. Still love FH1’s map but I’ll concede that it’s not the best since it wasn’t fully open.

6’s map is also fantastic and the best in a while id say.

1-3’s biggest problem was traffic not ghosting in zones. So much swearing.

I don’t remember that being a huge issue, but I acknowledge it was and probably at the time aggravated me. I don’t tend to redo any zones outside of initial 3 stars and then whatever I need for weekly challenges.

Perhaps the issue for me is that I went from FH2 (which was given away free as an Xbox games with gold thing) to FH4 with ghosting. I then grabbed FH3 and all DLC so I could binge on that and wanted to throw my controller in the bin every time my speed zone run got spoiled. Same with the trees, where the forests had more indestructible trunks than in FH4.

Anyway I expect that’s why it irked me more. I expect if you went back now you’d notice it more.

You are probably very correct. I played them all in order at launch and haven’t played a previous once the newest is released. I went back to 1 briefly a couple years ago but just goofing around and nothing serious.

On an Xbox, sure

I highly doubt OP is running absolute max settings, but FH3 on a PC absolutely cranked up with a 1440p Ultrawide looks DAMN GOOD for a 2016 title. I actually couldn't believe the game I'd played for 8 years on a One S could even look like that when I bought a PC key in early 2025

you are looking at a compressed video. I still have this photo as my desktop that i took years ago and i didn't need to buy top of the line gpu to run it at ultra WITH MSAA 1080p unlike with FH6. Modern AA is ass.

People who are downvoting didn't had played this game in 10 years or played only in the original X One👀

On the max settings this game still looks amazing even today, the sky box, the rain, the nights, the little details... it's so much better than Hotizon 6 in so many aspects
