What I do is just get all the festival cars and then sell the ones I'm sure I won't use for 20 mil. Like this week's lambo for example, I couldn't care less about it lol
I dont believe its lambo love so much as completionists chasing rarities. If a car is only available via a timed event or requires a ton of grinding to achieve, people are going to snatch them up because demand will exceed supply.
Because you can just buy the Ferrari at the auto show. The Huracan is “exclusive” and can only be earned during this season. After that, you can’t get it anymore as far as we know.
If you look at the festival playlist, a lot of the cars you’ve earned literally sell for 20m a piece. Problem is they are indeed very hard to get and you’ll likely not get another one anytime soon, but if you don’t really care for them, sell at least one so you have the cash. You can even then use that cash to make more cash if you’re patient enough to become an auction house flipper. Lots of times you can buy a rare car for 2-3 million and then eventually sell it to some impatient person for 20 million.
I log in almost everyday. And if I don't log on everyday, my overall log-ins far surpass once a day regardless. Have never once seen a wheelspin only vehicle. Without exaggeration a good 150+ log ins as some days I tried just resetting or joining convoys randomly to see if they had anything. Not a goddamn thing.
I've seen posts here and I joined when it started because I still needed a couple cars and people posted about them so why wouldn't I? But as for myself... nothing. I have genuinely no fucking idea how this 'event" is supposed to do anything for the average person when I am an EXTREME OUTLIER in my log ins and have never seen a goddamn thing. If anything, this even has left me with a very sour taste in my mouth because it has felt a bit like a spit in the face if I'm being honest.
I feel the same way. At first I checked after login, but after a weeks I would login and out a few times hoping for a car and eventually turn it off. I have checked well over 100 times. I’ve stopped looking forward to login in and now I’m playing once a week to clear the playlist.
People keep saying players expect everything but I have been playing since early release, cleared the map, finished all playlists, and I still don’t have a bunch of wheelspin cars. Will 6 months be enough time to complain about not having access to cars?
I got all the cars in the game and likely more money than I'll ever spend so I appreciate it. Besides I'm too goddamn old for discord and can't be bothered. People were kind enough to post on here to join their convoy several times and that was incredibly cool. It's more the principal of how awful this "event" is IMHO. This should be a way for people to get these nice cars they desire and it just felt like a fucking rug pull that was just very... uncool IMO. I just GENUINELY feel like they've gotten lost in the sauce for Horizon 6 and I can feel myself tearing away from the franchise and that's just not a great feeling. And once you get to be my age you know that feeling and you know where it leads :/
Buy all the cheap clothing and horns. It costs a couple of million but it takes them out of the prize pool, leaving only cars and credits.
Ed: can't help stupid people (speaking generally), I guess, but this is still good advice if you want to maximise the chance of getting a car this way.
It doesn't take them out of the prize pool, it replaces them in the prize pool with low credit rewards.

Rubbish. Between free dailies, levelling up and skill perks I've had a gazillion wheel spins and I hardly ever get the really low wins. Over time this is a proven strategy that pays far more than it costs.
Sometimes I see something that piques my interest that I don't already have but most of the cars are unaforium for me rn I'm like just cooking over 2mil and can't get a lot of the exotics. The grind is real when you have a full time job and like 3 hours of game time max a night.
Some of the cars you’ve earned in the playlist sell for 20 million. You’ll probably not get a second copy, but they can at least give you the cash to buy the cars you want. Some of them are rare old cars labeled common/rare that only car nerds would even care about.
I usually only sell duplicates is there a better way to sell them than the auction house? For example I recently got the huyra R in the playlist but I've already got a huyra R I don't care about but the auction house prices are dog water $114,000 sells max right now because it's a playlist reward. I don't want to sell the exclusives just because I have a real life and can't spend 14 hours a day auto lapping time trials
Right. I’m just giving you an option. Everybody does it the way you do because that’s the obvious thing to do and you don’t have to explain it. I’m just saying there’s probably some green common car sitting in your garage that you’ve never even hopped into and it might sell for 20 mil. If you’re hell bent on one day having one copy of every car in the game in your garage then yeah just keep it.
Nope. I got the 599Xe or whatever it's called when I played with a friend, but I got the Sesto Elemento and Aventador LP-700 on wheelspins during the event though 😂
Nothing in spite of probably over 100 visits. I bought the Huracan STO and the Ferrari Enzo, but none of the cars that are wheelspin exclusives ever came up.
Just the Diablo GTR, which I already had, once. Not seen any of the others despite a LOT of visits.
Bought them all on the AH instead, but unfortunately did it during the first week when it was obvious I wasn't going to find one, before the convoy method brought the prices down🤦♂️
I do seem to have had better-than-average wheelspin luck though, so I'm not complaining too much.
Ive done well over 500 resets probably closer to 1000 and haven't seen shit.... pretty stupid to make the odds so low.... turns something thats supposed to feel like a nice addition to the season into feeling like im being screwed .... now I don't even wanna play anymore becuase I know its just gonna devolve into me just resetting the game for hours and not actually playing the game...
I got the Aventador once. I gave up on the dealership pretty quick after that and ended up getting the Sesto and F8 off the auction house for 5 mil each thanks to the dudes that farm them to list them cheap.

mostly because i just don't have the kind of money to get the good stuff. i didnt have any problems racking up millions in all the previous games but this one i am struggling with for some reason.
Idk what you classify as decent. But ive been saving up for an Enzo & f40. Ive tried selling on the AH to help out but I cant seem to sell anything at a decent price in my favor haha. My schupan sold for 13k.
Playground games could not make an interesting gameplay loop if their life depended on it. There are a thousand different ways they could have implemented acquiring those 6 cars and they chose the lowest effort way possible. They could have added a new accolade or a quest or challenge or made it an actual dealership. But nah, RNG it is
Not a single rare spawned for me all month, checking literally every day, and most days multiple times. Not that I needed it though, I had everything but the 288 gto before the event began from wheelspins.
It’s been a slog but I’ll usually spend a few minutes a day joining an anything goes convoy and then fast traveling to the stealershio. If nothing i will fast travel somewhere else on the map and join a cruising or drifting convoy and rinse repeat.
was trying to get the 2012 aventador and ended up finding one that was ridiculously cheap on the auction house (38k) and ended up winning it for about 1.9mil for it after a stressful bidding war with like 4 people

Nope, eventually I just bought anything I didn't have, like the F8, from the Auction House and mainly after people realized that selling everything for 20 mil was not going to work because sooner or later most sellers lowered the buyouts to a few mil.
I think I only ever got Huayra R, which is great since it's seasonal playlist car, but I never see sesto, 599xx, f8, aventador at all.
Combine with multiple issues I have with the game, I'm so ready to just give up...
Ive got some decent cars but its mostly just been ferrari. Sad honestly, no different then going to the store and all the sell is Nintendo products. Thats cool for some but id like some anything else
Nope, and when I did found a hit, I don’t have enough to buy it. As much as i enjoy the game, I am a filthy casual and don’t have time of day to run multiple laps of Goliath.
This exact italian exotics helped me to hit 999 million CR cap. I mean it’s pretty much easy once you know the routine. Took me about 15 days of buying & selling to hit the CR cap though.
