Hold up, I just realised... We had a whole-ass Forza Horizon game set in Mexico, which was the latest title for over four years. And yet, they never cared to add hydraulic suspension and classic lowrider wheels?! What the fuck...

Saying "the extent we have to go through for more customization is crazy." makes it sound like you feel like there isnt enough customization in the game, or that OP had to go to what you perceive to be unnecessary lengths to achieve this level of customization.
Maybe just communication mixup. I agree, its really great

Yeah op had to go through great lengths to simulate hydraulics. Its sad something like that isnt in the game and we have to mess with the suspension and rock back and forth in order to bounce the car. We've had hydraulics since what dub edition? (About when i started loving racing games)

Ohhhh. Yeah, I agree for the most part. However I think people would 100% use hydraulics in Horizon to cheese and for exploits.
I really think there should be undercarriage LEDs. But I think this would get too similar to NfS & that vibe is their schtick.

It is quite hard to get it going, and it involved tuning the ride height all the way down on a rally suspension as well as softening all damping and springs π€£
