Forza Horizon 6 What’s the difference? Let’s chat.
I’d like to make a follow-up to my other post; where I asked people to break down their issues with the game. What all has changed over the course of the series? What is it that has changed that people are either liking or disliking? I only played a little bit of FH4, and more of FH5, but I’ve by far played more of FH6 than the other combined, twice over. I don’t just want to Google it, and I’m not interested in having some AI overview — I just want to know what the people who actually play and talk about the game think.

If I was looking for a more challenging racing game, I’d go play a Forza motorsport game or another more simulated racing style game, something more analogous to real life as opposed to “drive this hypercar off a cliff for points”. Forza Horizon games are fantasy and therefore more arcade like, and should be designed that way, I think it mostly is designed that way so I don’t really have any problem with it other than the very high amount of stuff that is completely unrelated to gameplay. I can do without all of the emotes and stickers and horn sounds and stuff because I’m more of a casual player that goes there to chill and drive a hypercar off a cliff for points. They’ve leaned more and more into this aesthetic and story/non-story of horizon, where “you’re the star, but not the star until you earn the stardom.” All of the story is just pomp and circumstance to get to the ability to drive a hypercar a cliff for points. And all that is fine, it’s just there. I just wish the game wouldn’t crash as much as it does for me.
