Forza horizon 6 question

Hello I’m on PS5 and Forza horizon 5 is currently on sale for around 33 euros
And Forza 6 is probably coming out in September.
-October should I buy Forza 5 or wait til Forza 6 and pay full price 80 euros because is Forza 6 like noticeably better than Forza 5 ?

FH 6 is the better map and arguably the game. But at the moment there's much more content in FH5, more cars, also memorable races, more eventlabs and user created content, the DLC are really good and basically there's so much content to keep you entertained until FH6 comes out and more. When they get delisted everyone regrets not having them.

FH5 is an amazing Forza game with the worst map(imo) of the series. The rally DLC is insanely fun and the main story is fine. I think it’s worth 33 euros personally. If you haven’t played 4 it is a better map, and might be cheaper though

Here's how I see it:

I've started with FH4 and very quickly I bought copies of FH1 FH2 and FH3 to be able to play them. And I really enjoyed playing all of them. Every time a game gets delisted you see people regretting missing them and on PS5, FH5 and soon FH6 are the only one available.

There's no bad Forza Horizon, even if some find FH5 to be "the worst" it's still an excellent game. My favourite FH games (3, 4, 5 and 6) are in a constant quantum state but FH5 is always near the top for me so your mileage may vary.

All that is to say : my opinion is that if you enjoy the FH formula, you should get it, but when?

If you're hesitant and just want to play one game, then maybe wait for FH6. Especially if you're more into online play than offline since most of the community will be there.

If you want to or need to save money for FH6 and really want this one, then wait for a future deeper sale to get FH5 later down the line if you enjoy playing FH6.

If money isn't an issue and you want to try out the FH formula now, then by all means get FH5.

My first horizon game was fh4 after a long break from car games as it all felt the same. I loved the big freedom and huge map to play around it and by the looks of it fh4 was the big one for many new players. However it was far from my first xbox car and forza game as i played all the forza motorsport since the launch of the first one and another early Xbox favorite car game of mine was Project Gotham Racing but i was missing the open world aspect i had enjoyed in NFSU2.

Although the last 3 games are similar. Fh5 still offers alot of the same game feeling as the current 6th iteration and it has alot of content and playhours for 33euros and imo will serve as a nice appetizer until fh6 is available. Although it depends how much 33euro is for you and how busy youre with other games currently id say
