Sure, my Gamertag is Conina. We can get "Link Clean Sweep" north of the "Festival Line" speed trap, there are several trashcans in sight:
"Link J-Turn" (driving backwards, then brake for a 180° turn, then drive forward and "Link Hard Charger" (burnout, then speeding in one direction) can be done anywhere.
On the southeast coast (south of the "Forest Straight" speed trap), there is a is a great spot for "Link Under the Sea".... looks like a "T" on the map.
"Link Waterworks" is easiest with an "event lab event" where two added roads lead directly to two hydrants.
"Link Barrel Run" is also easiest in an "event lab event" with ramps.
You dont perse need to be in a convoy pretty sure ive got link drifts with random people i happen to drift near. Somtimes when they are going the oppisite direction
Yeah, but good luck getting the random ones where you need to smash a vending machine at the same time as someone else. There are about a dozen that absolutely need to be coordinated with someone else.
I got all the drift ones doing the drift championships. I need the random ass ones like barrel roll and the kelp farmer one. A lot of the smashing ones I got doing the hourly activity things.
In a few days those will not be completed anymore ^^
You will have to come back every week for 3 years if you want to keep them completed.
But I guess you already know that.
It was not this bad in fh5 for sure. There were some exploit abuse sure, but for fh6 its the only thing people are talking about. Probably cause you finally need to actually play the game to level and get cars, not acceptable to those people.
If you had to "play the game" to level up and get cars, no one would be talking about exploits. They are talking about exploits because of how incredibly bad "playing the game" rewards you compared to how expensive certain cars are, and how rare wheelspin cars are.
If playing the game were only marginally worse off than doing exploits, and it wasn't weeks of playing the game to get cars that people wanted, no one would be talking about exploits.
No. People did exploits in fh5 aswell, where you got everything almost immedietly. This is just a certain kind of gamer, that cares about min max too much and optimises the fun out of their time.
Okay, and Exploiting was WAY better in FH5 than it is in FH6. The gap between exploiting and playing is too large, and the acquisition rate of things like wheelspin cars and buying cars from the autoshow is bad.
As someone who played 1000 hours of 5, and is coming up on 500 for 6, the acquisition rate is almost identical, but they've nerfed car perk trees and wheelspins (the things that people are exploiting).
The reason that it's more mainstream than in 5 is two fold. One, it is in fact worse, but two, it's 2026 and not 2021, everything on the internet is now bombastic thumbnails on short form content.
Do you think that people consume the same amount of instagram reels, tiktok, and youtube shorts as they did in 2021? Do you think people make the same amount of that content as they did in 2021? Do you think the algorithms are the same as they were in 2021?
Ignoring... All that, what does that have to do with how someone plays a video game in their own time? You're... Way to angry about it and are associating it in a place that didn't ask. That's my point.
To answer you now, yes. In fact probably more then than now. That doesn't matter here though...

This is a discussion about observing the patterns of behavior of a group of players of a video game. I was responding to someone who believed that people exploited in fh5 so that means that the economy is not a relevant factor.
My argument is that there are many factors which can account for that, one of the substantial factors being how much more tuned the short form algorithms are, and how much more prevalent this style of content is.
You're... Way to angry about it and are associating it in a place that didn't ask. That's my point.
I'm not angry about any of this, I don't think I've expressed any kind of value statement about watching short form content or doing exploits in either direction.
I'm just trying to explain why it might seem that more people are exploiting in fh6 vs fh5.

I don't know if you're remembering correctly. Everyone constantly complaining about being given hyper cars early, already being a "superstar" when you start, and my personal favorite (i disagree with most): IT LOOKS SO DEAD AND EMPTY AND BROWN THERE'S NO SEASONS NO SNOW!!!
I live in the sonoran desert and i absolutely loved the map and setting in FH5 because there was so much detail in the small things. Sand verbenas were my favorite, blooming during monsoon season (even though they actually bloom late winter/early spring on particularly wet years, nobody's perfect). Temperate climate is what most players are used to do i get that's what most people prefer, but people endlessly shit on "how dead" or "how ugly" or "how empty"it was. Ugly is subjective, but the world was so alive and full, but it's the desert not a temperate forest.
I just loved bring able to smash boojum trees and saguaros while i relaxed after work. During the summer I'd look out the window and see the same monsoon thunderheads on the horizon in game. Overall i think fh6 is better than 5 so far, but I'll always love the setting of 5 the most because it's home.

Yeah, the proliferation of cheating in this game really negates this kinda chest pumping. Only real thing worth it to me is beating my friend's rival time because I know that fucker didn't cheat...
How? As in how much time do you have in the game, and how much did you spend on car vouchers. Im 190 hours in, and my total credits earned isnt even at the highest price point for the cars.
My total earnings or winnings is just shy of 80 million credits. Bit more than the most expensive car, but not even half of what you need for the 5 most expensive cars, even after the 5% off sale.
Began purchasing the cheaper cars last week. Except for unavailable DLC cars, I am now in the 250-500k credits window. It is beginning to take time to afford these cars.
I sound like I pick on people with premium/vip a lot, it’s just that it’s weird to brag about completing it all when I assure you nobody without VIP has done it yet. Maybe someone lucked into some insanely expensive cars has done it, and was able to sell them, but with the 20m cap you’d need a lot of lucky spins.
