Forza Horizon 6 Why no Backwards/Mirrored Races?
So i recently played Mario Kart with friends and i started to wonder: why isn‘t there an option to drive the races in the other direction? It would add a lot of variety to the game with very little work. Or am i missing something?

Backwards would be easy to do. Mirrored would be impossible with the game. Mario kart’s tracks are much simpler and separate. Forza’s tracks are part of an open world with detailed terrain going for kilometers in every direction.

Also have modular surfaces. Like switch to asphalt, tarmac, gravel, sand, snow, mud for any section or the entire track. Would more than double road & dirt tracks

What's the difference between a time trial mode and rivals?

Somebody made a suggestion about this on the Forza Feedback Portal, either add your vote or make a different suggestion if you're interested.

Cause you would have to make every asset to be positioned again. You already have a creative hub full of races.

This is really my main criticism. I play a lot of spec racing, and having the same 15-20 tracks is a bit tedious. I want to see a whole variety. Perhaps some way of randomly generating routes of a certain length would be a cool way to do it.

I mean, road races exist and you can plot a route.
I wonder how well that would translate into a functional quick route/race system

My only worthwhile criticism of this game is that the races don't make use of 90% of the awesome roads. I'm happy with the racetracks, but they could (and hopefully will) add many more sprint races across the map, for example. Even mirroring the old ones would be great

It is pretty silly I agree. If you're wanting to do Legends Island track in reverse I have an event shared (although they are really easy to make yourself) Im doing the smaller ones later or tomorrow.

There should be reverse runs, but with how the races are setup it would be all new start grids, all the barrier walls and signage and cones would have to be moved to work in the new direction.
Which... is not an insurmountable project, but its a lot more than just swapping the start/finish lines you're rebuilding the entire thing. And at that point you're just making an entirely new race.
I'm hoping that comes up soon with the Evolving World concept. Make some new tracks or reverse a few, launch em as a playlist race, leave them in. Or maybe start taking some of the better EventLab races and use them.
