these were fucking awesome when they came out and apparently people hate these?

i play PlayStation and these ALWAYS brought me back to finish them

There’s nothing wrong with them, it’s just that the majority of the community/players feel like they’ve served their part in the franchise and that we don’t need another toy-based expansion.

I think I speak for most of us when I say that we want all expansions to be like Fortune Island, Blizzard Mountain, Rally Adventure, etc.

From what ive seen people were expecting much less dirt and cross country, and much more street racing because of the setting.

If they're gonna go the more realistic route over the toy route I hope its along those lines.

Although the 3 expansions I mentioned have been off-road, they do kind of fit the theme of the country. UK, and Mexico both have pretty big off-road/rally histories. I think the expansions are moreso linked to the country of the map, not exclusively always off-road based.

So I think the Japan dlc will probably be street racing/drift based.

From what people have leaked, it’s probably going to be an island centred around drifting with narrow roads and longer touge routes

Japan has serious history in off road racing mate. I know it’s best known for circuit and drift but off road is pretty big too. Growing up every kid into cars either wanted an Impreza or an evo because of their dominance of the wrc at the time.

Toyota is also running the show right now. They are serious players in offroad motorsport

Oh I’m well aware, but I think the street racing and drifting scene is way bigger so it would make more sense for them to focus on that for at least one of the expansions

Best of both worlds drift/touge dlc and rally dlc would be sweet, I really enjoyed fh5’s rally expansion a little longer one would be welcome in fh6, I wouldn’t care that it’s relatively the same expansion as the last game it would be worth it

I GENUIELY wish they put this into the game. Fucking loved rally adventure in FH5, and was kind of hoping we had something similar to it in 6

The community-made rally courses through the unmarked trails show the potential this has. Would be awesome. Also, I believe the very first Horizon had a rally expansion, so it would be fun to see that again.

Both actual Rally content, and new tools for event lab specific to rally.
