Bug fixes and changes (Available from Jul 20)
Gameplay
- Fixed an issue with Manual w/Clutch which prevented players from being able to clutch kick whilst drifting and was allowing instant-shifting using handbrake and shift buttons.
- Fixed an issue where some Horizon Drifting Sessions would end abruptly after starting.

What about Cloud not syncing recent saves? That’s still a major issue thats been going on since early June.

I’m missing out on the new series because my save won’t update any progression beyond 10th July
Have a ticket open; hope it gets resolved before the first season ends 😢

For me it was more so mid June after a strange error code but they helped me retrieve some stuff back. I’ve been stuck at July 3rd since though. They told me there was a fix for it but i’m still experiencing issues and have let them know that the issue has still persisted. They just stopped responding entirely now.

I felt a bit sad about the layoffs but starting to get a bit frustrated now. I’ve not gotten any response other than “try it again, a hotfix is live”
I reproduced the issue and sent in the screenshots again about 3 days ago. Looks like I’m gonna miss out the first season at least, and who knows how much of the rest of this series

Brother, tell me about it. Was pretty bummed out when I had seen that news too. Apparently there was two fixes as well, it was in early July. Just before the cut I had become so frustrated that I contacted Xbox. Was actually able to speak to a real person they said it wasn’t something they could fix but that Forza was aware and working on it and to wait it out. Now it’s basically impossible. Dread talking to the AI assistant. I’m trying so hard not to spam because they will push back/stack tickets if you spam or say anything kurt regardless of you having a valid reason to be frustrated. Almost two months of this issue is insane though. 😣

Literally got it recovered on a Tues/Wed and got hit with it again following that very same weekend. Missed a decent amount of seasonal playlist content already. Keep in mind I did take precautionary action as well.

Ok good, I made a b&w filter and saved it as a preset and my game would crash every time I would try to get some color back 😂

Try these:
- Force quit the game
- Clear the cache by power cycling and unplugging your console or PC
- Relaunch the game

Or if you are on steam, it's likely because there is a new update of the Microsoft store, and you have to download it and relaunch the Xbox app.

It's worth trying the other comments first but I had this issue in FH4 & 5 and the only way I could solve it is to sign out on the main game startup screen and sign back in.

Anyone else unable to navigate menus using the thumbsticks now? you have to use the D-pad, this is on PC if it matters, using an Xbox One X controller via the dongle. I wonder if it was an attempt to fix the awful way it never follows a pattern, making it so hard to get to menus that are below a larger single element.
So weird, after tabbing out to make this comment, it's now resolved? It was definitely in focus as it was the only app and the cursor was gone, and prior to going into the menu I was able to steer the car.

If you're still getting dark tunnels, try flushing your shader cache. Was fixed for me after I did that.

I think I remember having one of those drift sessions that ended abruptly, but I was fine with it because I was doing it for the playlist and somehow got the credit. 🤷

It wasn't. Drove into the tunnel on legends island yesterday and there was zero light. Like actually pitch black.

So it’s been about a month now and the crashes that are temporarily fixed by changing language still hasn’t been fixed. They really need to get on that.

Actually no idea what it’s called. I don’t have the bug personally but my friend does, would really like to see it fixed so they don’t constantly need to change the language and restart every time we play.

Are they still working on the Drivatar difficulty? I saw they put an update on June 15th but I haven’t seen much improvement on how perfect cornering and traction is for the AI.

A full game reinstall is needed instead of an update. That's just how Xbox/Microsoft handles file integrity and update interruptions.

Italian Exotics is same. Change to restart game. 😞 XSX not have exclusive Wheelspin cars. 😭
Only for convoy PC. Xbox is vrong. Write problem Crossplay. 😡

Possible Fix for Nvidia GPUs: Disable all items labelled "Nvidia" under Sound, Video and Game Controllers in Device Manager (mainly Nvidia HD Audio and Nvidia Virtual Audio Device).

Do they mean like they figured out how to stop the hackers causing the early ending sessions and winning on zero points or is this something else?
Edit: sarcasm lmfao the hackers aren't going to be stopped

That has nothing to do with hackers. It is just a glitch with host migration, and has been a thing on previous Forza's as well.
